Hmm, I'd like to know about this as well. I never got a manual (download probably has some kind of manual somewhere but I haven't looked much), but as far as I can see there's no missions you can send agents on - just sabotage it seems.

For those who don't want to read much, my vote is FIX THIS HORRIFIC BUG!!! Detailed analysis below: Frogboy: Last time I checked, the AI doesn't get to reload a saved game when they make a mistake. The only people who might be affected by it are the people who are constantly reloading the game to which one might argue that it's almost as if the AI were trying to even things up. <br

For starters, it seems to me you made a big mistake in choosing to be good when researching xeno ethics. I'd be keen to try an all-good galaxy just for kicks, and see if I couldn't manipulate everybody into war. But if you really find it boring, why the heck did you choose to be just like everybody else? Sure, it'll be easier, but the easy path is often right next to the boring one.... If you really needed some extra excitement, why didn't you go to war with any of the other races?

If anybody's still following this thread, I have the exact same problem at work - as low as 8 bytes per second, and rarely much higher. I have no trouble at home. At work we have a T1 connection and nothing else is slow, so it's something with the connection to sdcentral... anybody have any ideas?

First, I thought I read somewhere that you could get the game AI to act like a particular player or something, but I don't know where I read that or how it worked or if I'm just hallucinating and maybe I never read it at all... Second, is it just me, or does it seem like the AI, being able to see ALL stars at ALL times is a worse cheat than any production bonuses? I can't help feeling a little disillusioned about the so-called "incredible" AI when it's able to know exactly which planet
