There are two ways I can imitate to start button floating upwards but I did not report it because it seemed so minor and didn't really bother me. 1. Going crazy resizing the the layout and holding left click in place 2. Using "make menu font bigger or smaller" adjusted to "107%" and then holding the left mouse click at the right corner. (strangely this is only an issue at 107% so I can simply just not use this size to fix the problem) These issues for me go away once t

Here is what I have noticed, although all my issues have been much more mild. * Occasionally start button does not open with win11 taskbar but seems to open every time with win10 taskbar * Occasionally start button animations stutter, particularly when switching pages * The actual icons seem to be more crisp and clear then before, is this from a higher pixel ratio then before or is it my imagination * Stuttering is not constant for me, sometimes I see no issues

I like the enhanced functionality with the Win 10 and 11 theme and the few new features here are pretty important. The page feature is a staple of why I use start 11 and I like the thinking behind making switching pages having more options. It is now really easy to navigate with a mouse and keyboard. I am not seeing a move "tiles to next page" option when using Win10 theme. The option is still present with Win11 theme and can move items to next page. But when I try to move items to previous page an error saying can not find "movepreitem11" pops up

win 10 style tiles to the Win11 style layouts For me personally I would prefer the grid tile from modern theme over win 10 style tiles in windows 11 theme. the grid tiles kind of have a matching look that is already present in windows 11 built in search which I find looks good.

Yep that one is working. Not a bad find febag. Essentially all this does is bring windows 10 taskbar to windows 11. So when running start 11 it would function exactly as it does on windows 10. I am still not against the idea of start 11 adding in never combine function to their windows 11 taskbar build however

I really like the snap layout features of Windows 11, but everything ends up being all jumbled up and mixed into single icons and that is driving me crazy. It is almost counter intuitive from a productivity standpoint because I will still have to dig around for my folders when I would rather be snapping them side by side faster. Groupy is nice because it will ad tabs to explorer, but at the same time I still prefer to use snap features so at the end of the day I feel I need never combine tabs

There are two windows 11 issues I can think of that may be causing issues. 1. A lot of GPU's needed there drivers updated to fix random freezing and crashing issues happening once Windows 11 was installed. Make sure you have the very latest gpu driver. 2. There is a known performance drop specifically with the AMD Ryzen chips compatibility with Windows 11. Some people have reported up to 6x less performance using these AMD cpu's with Windows 11. The start menu for windows 11 is a monstrosity. There is no doubt in my mind that start 11 will be stardocks biggest ticket item since start 8. I am not sure how big their team is, I do know that stardock has to get Start11 out of beta and there is probably some pressure to do so since Microsoft is pushing sales on windows 11. But I do hope updating Groupy is somewhere in their future plans.

The current build is 0.91. I am guessing that means that they are about 91 percent done with the final product. The latest build took care of the most annoying bugs and the few bugs I am still seeing are pretty minor at this point. I think the rest of the build may be a few more design features and maybe even requests from users as to what they believe is missing from the build. As for a timetable, I don't like those. I figured it out. If you mess with the font size in just the right way the right amount of times it may create the issue I described. I set my font back to 100 percent and it started functioning normal again.

From what I am gathering, no one else is able to reproduce what I am experiencing and that it may come down to my mouse settings or some other setting I have on my device that is creating this behavior. I have no clue what it is but will update if I figure it out.

I am using a standard Logitech mouse, and you are right it is actually holding down the left click button that resizes. The curser needs to be kept right at the border and the button needs to be held in place for the resizing to have an opposite affect

In the configure the start 11 menu, click about then select check now for your current version. There are actually a lot of good fixes in the release.

Yes it can on release 0.91, but there appears to be a bug in how it works. Here is what I found.. *When you hold the left click button on the top held down, the right side shrinks. It can shrink quite small which is a nice feature but it looks buggy. *When you hold the left click button on the right side, the bottom starts to shrink upwards *When you try to adjust the menu size when a custom image loaded then it start menu freezes. I totally agree with this request. In the mean time there is actually a way to pin folders on the windows 10 / 11 themes that took me a little while to figure out. If you type in the folder name in the built in start 11 search bar you can then left click and select add to start menu that way. Moving forward I would like to see the pin to start 11 option become added to explorer list of options at the very least. At the very best it would be nice to add folders inside the start
