Odd anyone would rate a competitor's skin low, anyhow. Seems to me if you feel threatened by another's work, the answer isn't to rate them lower -- the answer is to make your skins/works even better.

Yea. The "I could care less" thing tends to make me cringe. But so does: "You should of come over last night!" Perhaps more than anything, it's tautologies that tend to drive me bonkers. "End result" - Well if you're not at the end, you have no result. The result is the end of something. "Free gift" - If it's not free, it's not a gift. "Join to
Not really sure how one would do that.
I suppose one of two (though may be more ways) ways: Rectangular marquee tool. Lots of it. ^_^ Use Magic Pink as desktop background for a moment, snap the screenshot, remove magic pink in editor of choice. Though, of course, I hadn't expected either to be done - would just make what I'm doing easier. ♥ (Size wouldn't matter)

Have a small (or big?) favor to ask of someone. Anyone, really: Take a screenshot of not just the main Blind, but also, if possible, a few of the other skinned apps up and visible but (and here's the caveat) I need it as a PNG, totally transparent background, no wallpaper backing. If anyone could do this it'd be fantastic. ♥ Can post it here, or send to my e-mail: matchbook at email dot com. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]

Technology to do things for us we can - and perhaps ought to be doing - do for ourselves. Astonishing, really. At a glance, all of this stuff seems reasonable. Maybe a shoe that auto-ties itself. Trousers that auto-zip. Pens that write as you speak (exists on the computer, of course). Chips in the brain and eyes, to allow us Google searches right inside our heads, with merely a glance. Toilets that examine stool and check for vitamin deficiencies and, according to what it finds you lack, it o

JJ930 - I see you may be a fan of Tinker Bell, and/or her Fairy friends? If so: Me too! I shan't admit to my two Tinkerbell tattoos, though. [e digicons]:D[/e] Have always wanted to make a Tink theme for myself (personal use) but it's so much work as to make it defeating for me, so I stick to smaller projects: Ie: Wallpapers. But I agree

Gosh. I have no screenshot. My desktop's... boring, I guess? I have nothing on it. And only two icons. (Music folder, Recycle bin) No apps, no widgets, no sidebars, no docks, nada. One wallpaper, two icons. And a partridge in a pear-tree. [e digicons][/e]

From whatever start-menu is made, I will base my wallpaper. [e digicons];)[/e] I will then, conceptually at least, have a better-than-fantastic grasp of the project. I do consistently check this thread, for updates, to see what's going on and, where need be, will give input. [e digicons] Keep it goin'.

Would be amusing to archive this thread, and peek on it in 10 years, to laugh at all of us thinking these speeds are fast. ^_^ "Remember when we all thought 100mb/s was fast?" And we'll laugh heartily. Moore's Law. Whee!
