Welcome back Anton The have been several changes since you last played.There have been 2 additional releases from SDC.The version is up to 1.12 now.The meteverse had quite a upheaval about a month ago with lotsa empire hopping and new ones forming and old ones disbanding.We have managed to stay about the same thanks to KTK who has largely been the one keeping us floating.For me real life has gotten very hectic and I probably wont be around much this month.I will try to check in with the empi

I finally was able to get one game finished.Only three more days and this month of work will be over.My parents will be in town all next month and I probably wont get any gaming in at all.January will be the month before I really get back to any serious gaming.Real life has me so busy that its all I can do to drop by here for few minutes a day.Keep us in there KTK and hope that we can recruit some more people.Well back to work I go.

Try upgrading your video/audio drivers.If you have winamp or windvd then you probably have a bad sound codec.Go ot the drengin.net button(center/top screen)and then look for troubleshooting button(left side).On this page about 1/2 way down is a good audio codec that might help you.

virtual reality centers in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Does anyone else think virtual reality centers are unbalanced?If they did 30% morale well ok,but when some other morale improvements do the same thing for only 2 bc versus 5, things are not quite balanced. I would like SDC to even out the improvements a little more.

The PQ mod works properly and doesnt cause anomalous scores.I use it in all my games.An example of an unbalanced mod would be something that the ais don't know how to use or the ai setting is set really low in the mod so human player will always get it first.

from what I have read the german version is made by some other developer that kinda does all the translations.Sometimes this will cause eerors to appear that are not associated with the original English version.Please check the above link and several of the above mentioned problems will probably dissappear. Thats okay about your scores.They will improve over time.We don't place much emphasis on scores as long as you are enjoying playing the game.We are not about trying to maximize our scores only playing to the level that we enjoy.If you look at my profile you will see my first games were only about 4000 or so.To see someones profile just click on their name.

If you like being evil thats okay.Just watch out for some nasty events that are triggered by evil morality though.The Fundamentalists,I League,Dmer are a couple that can totally flip a game you thought you had control over. There are some techs that are morality specific.If you are good you can get some that evil races can't and vice versa. [Message Edited]
