There are a lot of agruements that say the U.N. is ineffective, lets assume that they are true. But why are they ineffective? Because the purpose behind the creation of the U.N. is flawed? I don't think anyone would argue that posistion. So if their intended purpose is good what is stopping them from carrying it out? The only answer I can think of is that they lack the power. Conclusion: the U.N. needs more power in order to implement their purpose.
