I've seen it turn that dark maroon color on one of mine and purple on one of vstylers. I thought it was something in the control panel too and I think that is what CAUSES it...you just dont get to pick the color. [e digicons]XD[/e]

I have seen it change on some blinds...some of mine and vstylers...but despite a lot of trial and error I was never able to find what caused it.
Sorry I commented about your Angel,
Not necessary to apologize...its only my opinion that its awesome the way it is,haha...your opinion is as valid as mine there...vs. say maybe a technical issue which are more cut and dried.(tho still never absolute...this is art after all.Even technical aspects can be thrown out if done for a reason and done well. Example...a collage type composition where the elements are rough cut on purpose and even drop shadowed a tiny bi

The idea has potential...the thought of something being projected on a nebula is awesome. But............you are still making the same mistakes...source images are so blurry you could never fix this. It still has the look of things just pasted together without considering how they are going to mesh. I would keep at this idea or maybe wait til you develop better skills. Change the orientation of the projection and it
Is this all Cinema 4D?
There will probably be some after render PS touchups to deal with but the goal is to not have to.Any experienced 3D artist could do even better,I'm still a noob.I was just willing to keep watching tutorials and tweaking til I got results good enough for the purpose...a windowblind. Any 3D app can produce these results...even the free Blender app...its actually quite powerful. Here is the dumb part on my part...the base package of C

I cant tell by looking what it was made with...I'm ruling out PS because animating with that would be hard...a 3D app maybe but the material has some aspects you dont see with standard materials...maybe gradient channels or a toonlike shader...I'm stumped.
The joint of the mountains needs to be blurred, Maybe even shift the whole layer to the left. I am assuming the clouds will are on that layer also and will shift with it. It could give a better effect distancing the dark and the white I would try making the angel a bit smaller and definitely "surrealize" the wand and fire. There seems to be wind blowing the fire. It's hard to find a direction as the shadows don't coincide, i.e. Car, safety guard. Road sign, etc.. Maybe blur

Thanks freinds,...I'm being a little premature here actually...the window frame isnt even fully modelled yet and I keep tweaking things that I thought were done. Plus this is for me a very busy time with Housing appointments and Dr. visits and dealing with Social Security so I am very distracted right now.The good news is ole' Brain has finally been approved for SSI after 4 years of living on 200$ a month. I may actually have a real place to live and a buy a cheap car soon.woo

Yeah,lighting...and cursing, yelling, cursing some more...always more cursing...followed by head-scratching.(with eventual revelation) Yep Doc,I always wanted Slider to be rendered from a 3D app but I just kept putting off ,making the effort so I settled for doing it in PS. But after seeng how well John pulled off Penthouse I pulled the trigger and plunged in.One benefit of being sick a lot is having plenty of time to watch instructional videos...they are essential to learning q
