I've seen most of these as well--and they are huge! While I am able to forgive Stardock a great deal due to its teriffic attitude (I''ve seen no other developer as honest in acknowledging faults) and obvious effort in updating the game, I find it simply inexplicable that such huge gameplay bugs (that surely must have been seen by beta testers,) not only are still in the game, but, despite multiple posts, have been unaddressed on these forums by the devs, who are generally active posters.

I have not seen it mentioned elsewhere, but the tooltips identifying the name of orbital ships are gone for me since installing the 1.0X update. This is a new game started after updating. This may or not be a problem to younger gamers, but the bifocaled eyes of this veteran gamer simply cannot distinquish the tiny orbital icons without a rollover tooltip.
Althogh I could be wrong, I don't think there is a way to have randomly select opponents--and I though it a rather curious omission. I hope a feature such as this can be added in a future patch.
Frankly, while the tutorials probably took a lot of effort, they are inherently wrongheaded (and yes, I watched them all). Watching a non-interactive tutorial might be a good marketing tool, but is only marginally better then useless IMO for learning to play. Some kind of scripted walkthrough of a game, which allowed the player hands-on experience, would have been infinitely more valuable--and probably have cost less, too.
