I sent this issue with the activation log file to support well over a week a go and no one has answered my problem other than the automated acknowlwdgmwnt response. The Galactic stock certificates. Yes, Yes. In your dreams will it have any value. But it was a nice gimmick. Too bad Stardock is not publicly traded. Even though I am a communicst, I would love to buy a few shares just to let Syardock know how much I have enjoyed their games.

I strongly rcommend not buying from Walmart. There strong anti-union and racist and sexist policies in promotions are a turnoff to all who toil for a living and expect better. Walmart is really exploiting Chines labor and possibly prisonlabor as well, though I have not confirmed that specific detail yet. They have huge factories in China where workers have no free unions to protect their interests. The unions are all directly controlled by the government and the employers.

Of course I have purchased every game that Stardock has produced. Most have been great. I loved the games under os/2. They were in many ways cutting-edge and only wish that platform had more peominence today, asit stabilty and interface still in many ways exceed any windows operating system. I still have an up-to-date copy of eCom Station 1.20 the latest release of the os/2 operating system. I occaionally use it as it has up-to-date Firefox and Thunderbird browsers and email readers.

Like the Staet IRC really keeps track of all internet sales. It;'s impossible. Maybe they could keep tabs on larget tab items like cars and boats, but unlikely they could keep track of $30 and $40 sale items.

Well that won't work for me. Because I went through hell with this server problem I now have a situation where it won't activate the software because of "excessive activation attempts". This is for the birds. I need prompt attention from support at Stardock. However they do not work weekends.

I successfully downloaded the .016 beta from the California server , but the multimedia download fails on both California and Chicago servers. Is ther no way to get this game together so it will install properly. This is a very frustrating mess and I hear NOT a word from Stardock that they are addressing it.

How does one access the California server??? I see no option in Stardock Central to default to any particular server for installing GCII beta.

You are NOT talking about the .016 final beta. I have not heard anyone who has successfully installed it no matter how many times you try. I tried over a dozen times. It always fails at 6% of the extraction process at files thumbs.db_0 file not found. If you are tellingme you got passed this I do NOT believe you.

PLEASE DO IT QUICKLY!! I am bleeding. After much frustration with beta .016 . I tried to uninstall GC2 figuring mabe the problem was in some corrupted file on my system. So I deleted all the archived betas , now I have no game to play.

What am I to do?? beta .016 bombs early in the extraction process , as has been documneted. I had deleted the archived installations to save disk space. Now I can't install. I have no working version.. Can you please correct the installation routine pronto so I can use the beta until release date??? Thank you.

That no longer works on many systems because of an error in the installation routine. The. 016 beta screwed my installation royally. I can't uninstall and it doesn't show that it is installed and bombs out on extraction at thumbs_0 file not found.

Brad, any chance of you guys increasing your internet bandwidth, the downloads are excruciatingly slow. I have a 4-8 Mb/sec cable connection and I am downloading at 50-60kb /sec , sometimes slower , rarely faster. This has happened only in the past 2 weeks before that it was much better.

I notice the Stardock servers have been extremely slow this past week with my downloads. I normally get 300KB per second or higher and lately I average 60-80 KB per second. They need much greater bandwidth on their internet portal.

I have had the the latest beta crash several time on me when using the shipyard interface. I believe there area couple of other nasty bugs left in this game, but I can't rememeber the sequence that produced the crashes.

I have the beta.81 I have noticed on this and earlier betas that if I decomission the starport that I built on the planet because I located on a square that is better utilized as a bonus for say research or manufacturing, I can't rebuild the starport at all. It is no longer available as a resource to build. That is WRONG and is a bug.

As I renewed my TGN subscription about 6 months ago, I am entitled to GCII on release. Will I continue to get the beta releases that are non-public, or do I have to wait to February for release??? I currently am running the .80ab releae.
