Just wondering if anyone else has come across a game where the a good civ somehow gets evil techs even though none of the evil civs have them and the player doesn't have them either. Happened to me in the gigantic game I'm playing right now. My version is 1.02 by the way. The altarians somehow got a hold of 3 evil only techs even though they are saintly and no one else in the galaxy has these techs. Any one have any ideas how this could have happened?

Also from Vancouver. Hate to say it but I'd rather see a Canucks/Lightning Final. Only way we can have home ice advantage in the finals ;)
I got that message quite a few times in one game where I was already immensely superior to all the other civs. [35_WantsPeace_D] I have powers you know? POWERS. Political powers! So let's make peace now. You have impressed me and it takes much to impress me. Whoa! That dog has a fluffy tail! The above is very similar to a scene from a Simpson's episode where Homer sees a man who looks just like him and says, "OMG that man is my exact double." He then sees a dog and says "OMG
I found out that ships created in that sector do not get the bonus on their first turn. That's what was confusing me.
Hmm, I'm playing in 1.02.049 and I don't seem to get the bonuses. I've built about 6 bases all with both speed bonuses but my dreadnoughts still only get 8 movement points per turn. I'm very confused. Gigantic without catapults is going to be very dreary.
Quick and easy question. Did patch 1.02 nerf the ability to make ship catapults. That is can you still load up a sector with lots of SB's with stellar wake and reverse tractor beams and get huge movement bonuses?
Generally name my planets after characters in whatever book or series of books I'm currently reading. Often end up using X-men character names :d
What about something along the lines of this: First 2 starbases have no maintenance cost. Third has a cost of 2 bc per turn. Fourth has a cost of 4 bc per turn. Fifth has a cost of 8 bc per turn. Sixth has a cost of 16 bc per turn. Of course these numbers would have to be tweaked but after a certain point it wouldn't be economically feasible to build more SB's. However the player would still have the option of overloading a particularly important sector if he w
Thanks Yin. I considered doing this but was hoping there was a way to submit games without having the game loaded at work. The file information will be useful to have though. Thanks again.
I can only play games at my home computer which does not have internet access. However I have internet access at work but can't play games there. Is there any way to make submissions other than through the end game screen? Thanks
