Yea the south beach seems like a good diet. I sort of do the same thing with not eating foods that hike up my glycemic index, but of course i slip sometimes. But the best part about it is that if you slip you simply do the induction phase for as long as you feel is right. The Induction phase is pure hell if you love your starchy carbs, but if you honestly make it through that phase without cheating, i really think the rest of the diet is much much more manageable.</

In attempts to find some a higher level of code reuse as far as user-defined controls are concerned, I turn to the asp.net custom controls. These controls give the developer a way to encapsulate some commonly used "Stuff" over and over again promoting reusable code. ahh yes reusability, the dream of every man and woman. Of course we have seen it done in all languages and asp.net is definately no different and promotes it with Custom User Controls, and Custom Server Control

I see Kingbee, yes then please don't watch game 4!!! Maybe Auburn hills will be Mardi-gras - esk if they win. I'll bring beads!! I've been to mardi gras, the real think, it's crazy.

What has he said when people asked him that question? I think i recall one instance where he said that whatever his wife wants, he'll do. I think they currently live in portland, if she wants to stay there, is he going to try to sign on again with the blazers??? HE BETTER NOT!!! Rasheed is a match maid in piston heaven. That whole Blue collar work ethic that the pistons have he fits in well with it because if you see him play, he doesn't take one series off. He yells,

True, but before the addition of Rasheed Wallace, they may not have made it this far. Even now, the games are presented as "The Lakers are losing" rather than how awesome the Pistons are playing to win. Hopefully after they win they'll get the respect they've long deserved. I definately agree with you on this, but the one thing somewhat in

The pistons defense was amazing last night... The Piston's D has been great all season. Anyone who has been following the pistons all year could tell you so. It's just that they are in the show now displaying it for everyone to see, not just us loyal fans.

Well, most of the morning was used for setting up a table that stores all the LibraryID's that a particular skinner belongs to. This is used such that when we do queries against our skin library looking for any skins that a particular author has done, we can check against this new table to see which libraries they have actually posted in instead of simply checking them all! The Second thing i've done is that when a skin is deleted, and it is the last skin for that author in that

Well, T-man is spending much of his hard working time speeding up our sites, I have been working on getting some basic functionality up and running for the new personal pages for wincust. I think the base is very time consuming, much of my time is spent thinking of ways to make the base functionality, and the classes that make it up generic enough such that expanding on this will be fairly easy. The Plug In Plug Out way of doing things! Thinking outside of the box! Very hard i thi

First let me get out of the way what i did today then i will get to my discovery on SlowUser.com 1. Created some base classes for Wincust and beyond to be used. Classes Include: PageBase - Most of our .aspx pages will derive from this base class such that it will inherit a Site Class and User class which will give the derived page access to a pointer of a Site Class so that you can gain information of the current site/subsite you are on and also a pointer to the current

Well, after all that great talk about custom server controls, i have decided at the moment to use User Controls becuase given the tme frame i do not have enough time to learn the pipelining and how to fully optomize it's uses. Today well, I fixed the following: 1. In the Channel Rss Feeds for blog navigator, change the title from to 2. If a person gets approved to join a blog group, then automatically add them to the custom audience that has the same name as th

Well, it's friday, i should stop there, but i will not. 1. We figured out some bugs pretaining to dealocked threads when dual processors are processing information on a single recordset. SQL Server would throw a deadlock exception. 2. Assisted in Finding out how to create a custom error 500 page. Pat then took that and created a script to email us web developers of when a page error has occurred, the URL that was requested, and the relevant error. 3.

Worked on joeUser much of the day. With the big chief out of the office I had a difficult time figuring out some of our higher level queries and such. My agenda today was to get the points system implemented onto the forums, but didn't even get a chance to tackle that task due to the grief that the blog groups caused me today. With Good night's sleep tonight, I hope a productive day will be awaiting for me. Worked on joeUser much of the day. Wi
