Fair question, but no, its with the PHC.
Actually, first time I noticed it, I was playing substrate. Some of my fighters were just circling while the enemy's planes were swooping in, ignoring my fighters, and bombing my node. LOL. Happened to me TWICE before I decided to watch it happen a third time. GARRISONING FIGHTERS AT THE NODE WAS WORTHLESS. Other than that, yo

Noticed this in a couple of games. I know there is an AI / controllability issues here - you can't have your troops constantly chasing down the enemies, when they have been directed to stand at a location. BUT... there has to be a happy medium. Fire back, but don't move... or give a small radius for return fire... at least. Anyone else notice this?

I haven't been in MP for a while, but am planning to return. I just wanted to finish the escalation campaign before jumping back into MP. I finally had the chance to finish up the other day.. yay (was very fun, BTW). Anyhoo, I am curious if I am not alone. Maybe more players will start showing in MP over time. I know I will be there to find out... :)

Lots of people have commented on this idea... some way to do a partial select or deselect. I made some comments about a "partial deselect" in this thread, back in June: https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/478101/page/1/#3639946 So.. I wouldn't call it a bug, BTW, but I do agree that I naturally wanted to "break off" units, an

My recommendation if you play multiplayer, lose, and feel bad about it. Play again. And again. And again. And sooner or later you will feel good about yourself when you win. And then you will lose again. And again. and Again. But keep playing, and you will win again. I promise. ^^^ That, plus this: It's just a game, not a job, not a demarcation of social status

+1 tourney addition. To clarify: Is the plan that those who own the game (escalation) would just be able to play MP, without the additional tourney version purchase? I personally don'y care TOO much on this point, but just want a sense of what to expect. Also, am curious how upgrades will be handled? Will tourney addition be a crippled version that will remain the same forever, or will it have all of the latest greatest stuf

How come the cost of electronics is so high every game? It seems like it is the most expensive resource pretty much EVERY GAME. What is electronics used for, and what makes it price go up/down? Is it just supposed to be a final high priced commodity? Or does it serve some other function in the game?

I'm a new player, and am working on the final practice mission. I'm curious what the value/purpose of steel might be. I don't see steel as something that is consumed when you upgrade (aluminum, coal, glass). It doesn't seem to be a cost for patents and optimizations. So, where does steel come into play? Why would 50% steel advantage be significant... ever?</

Can you do these without having created corresponding buildings? It does seem like I can click on the optimization and patent icons, and spend my chemicals, even if I haven't built the patent lab or optimization center. During the game, I seem to see blue optimization bars, and also see my name tagged to patents. But then at end of game, it doesn't seem like the purchases are actually registered in the final summaries. So I am therefore curi

If you mutiny an OW Market, do you just claim the profit from your opponent's queued sales? Or do you have to actually arrange for your own shipments (meaning queue your own product shipments from your own resource pool)? What does mutiny on OW Market ultimately do?

If I am building a farming structure, and I am playing as science, does it matter how many water resources are on the target space? Or will the outcome be the same regardless how much water is present? In other words, am I better off building a FARM on a one-resource water space, reserving the three-resource water space for actual water extraction?

The point of the constellation is that it could separate the stocks by a degree or two form the resources. This would allow the stock to vary independently. While the stock prices would be index linked to the resource constellations, I guess I was assuming that the constellation stocks could vary a little more aggressively than individual stocks -- so their swings would be more exaggerated. This would enable players to make
It's not like resource investments where you can predict changes in prices by watching or deliberately manipulating the market.
Uh.. maybe was not clear... Idea would be to index-link price changes in stocks to constellations of resources... So if relevant combination of resources collectively go up.... same with stocks. And if the relevant combination of resources collectively go down... same w

One idea wold be to create some secondary non-resource stocks (truly stocks, as opposed to purchasable/produceable/consumable resources). The secondary stock prices could be affected by the base resource prices... The secondary prices could actually be reflective of resource constellations (ex. a robotics stock, which is simultaneously influenced by variations in fuel, metals, electronics, etc.) And then let players focu

Would be pretty cool if something like this could be made to work, as an alternate path to victory ("day trading" path). I like the concept of being able to ride on the back of someone else's success, and leverage it FTW. But... I suspect this would probably require an overhaul to certain aspects of the existing engine, and would probably cause a lot of other problems. Curious to hear what others think -- and wheth

Is it possible to win by strictly playing the market? I've only clocked about 7 hours in the game so far, so am still trying to understand the mechanics. It doesn't seem like a "market only" strategy is very viable (meaning focus on buying and selling, not on production; buy low, sell high). I guess the issue, from my perspective, is that whenever you purchase a resource, the price hikes, and whenever you sell, it drops. So if I see a stock at $1, and I
Is it possible so add a posibility to attach factories to an army, so that those factories would reinforce that army (meta unit) directly? Cause atm, there is a problem that if you request a reinforcements, there is no possible way to assign closest factories to production. And as far i see, requested units can be produced on the most distant factory, instead of using closest one. Ofc you could do it manually, but i would apreciate
