Oh I see, more likely a research for a bonus. I did look back at the screenshots and did notice some very small ships, those must have been the starfighters. Its more strategic scale like the game Hearts of Iron(which is a great game btw).

Although there is not ship design in GalCiv, from what I seen there are MANY different type of ships.
Does GalCiv have carriers and fighters? I never seen any in the screenshots so I was just wondering.
I could never understand the reasoning for creating a game like this to be multiplayer anyway. Like mentioned above, who in the world will have the time to play it? I like TBS games to drop multiplayer all together and focus on top quality AI instead. Save multiplayer for RTS games such as Warcraft 3 and the likes. As for MOO3 vs GalCiv I think GalCiv will clearly be a much better game. I personally think GalCiv will also be the next true champion of the space strategy games. Surpassin
I certainly believe the massive failure of MOO3 will make GalCiv an even bigger seller.
I like #16 and #18. Also maybe more events that can happen on planets such as ancient ruins found or strange lifeforms. Maybe have an equal number of planet and space events?
Hey just go to www.shrapnelgames.com. They are the ones who sell it and its the only place you can get it. I think you can ether buy a downloadable version or the CD version. If you have not done so already you can download the SEIV gold demo. It lets you play 100 turns. At last I NEED GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS! :)
After reading those replays over at Apolyton, I can't wait for this game. So GC sounds like exactly the kind of space strategy game I am looking for. It is a reason not to buy MoO3, because GC will be much better. Oh yeah that MoO3 sounds like a complete disaster. I mean no one likes the game, just go into those forums and even hardcore fans of the series hate it. I will certainly pass on it thats for sure. People buy GC, do not buy MoO3!
