I put a commander hero with all skills in reducing unrest in a level 3 city of mine with 170 population. net result showed that with low taxes and other buildings to ease unrest, unrest went to zero. next turn... city is now at zero population. the only thing I can figure is that there is a bug that occurs when you get to zero unrest in a city? it's definitely because of the hero being in there; if I reload to a previous save, and don'
@Ichthyic After looking into it some more the "Doom" (Enrage) effect seems to be working properly. e.g. Doom Club Successful ATK #1, 11 DMG (10 Base, +1 Enrage) Successful ATK #2, 12 DMG (10 Base, +1 Enrage, +1 Cumulated Enrage) Successful ATK #3 13 DMG (10 Base, +1 Enrage, +2 Cumulated Enrage) and so on. fwiw, if you think the leader of gilden to be a coward, hiding behind his gates... you can call him on it instead of trying to convince him to join. you don't need him anyway, and he IS a coward.
I think the doom effect would be more balanced if either: you got the bonus only after a kill (this is a common variable used with other items). or you capped the bonus at 50% total (so 5 consecutive hits gives the 50% bonus)... and that bonus is PER creature, so it resets after a kill, and you have to build it back up again on the next creature. both things should be possible given the current variables in use, but I guess the first would be easier to do.<br
what about the doom effect?
thanks! took me a while to find the files (I hate Steam!), but now edited. I suppose they won't take effect until I start a new map? *sigh*
yeah, counter base value is less than 50. I think it's 25%. first counter perk adds 25% to that, so you hit at 50%, next one boosts it to 75% (total).
confirmed. just found that sword. does not do splash damage. In fact NO weapons do splash damage correctly. odd that, given that there are creatures that can do it just fine. really sucks, as I also just found the titanic maul. what I wouldn't give for that thing to actually do its supposed 50% splash damage. *sigh* also broken is the "doom" effect. none of the weapons that have this effect work. this i
*moved to op*
the two handed weapons in this game are really nerfed to hell; pretty much completely useless. I guess it shouldn't bother me this sword didn't drop after I killed him.
confirmed still a bug as of version 1.6.
Valiero (assassin level 6; FE scenario map 2) has absolutely zero skills or traits assigned to him. he has no special abilities, no interesting equipment, so I can't see any reason to deny him any skills, or at least some free points to assign. that's got to be a bug. Then, on the 3rd map of the scenario, none of the heroes so far have any skills either (Dariun the grey and Janusk). sloppy. very sloppy, considering it's been 2 year
Was the 10% bonus from doom maul disabled? It is not working with any of my champs in the FE scenario.
1. That was intentional, this is a smaller version of the Sword of Wrath in the scenario (the original was to powerful).
uh, now it's worthless, since it still only does 15 base damage. that's not much more than a training sword (12). either put back the damage bonus, the healing bonus, or increase the damage to 25.
Fixed, thanks.
UN-fixed as of patch 1.6. Neither the healing bonus nor the damage bonus work. tested 3 times on map 2 of the FE scenario. unfortunate, since it was the only decent 2h I found. edit: I see they deactivated both bonuses to the sword in a previous patch. but... it's only a base 15 damage sword. that's only 3 more than a

..yup, that was it. thanks muchly.
thanks.
you need to rescue Padar Rihossa before you can get the quest
ah. will report back if that does not work. Just seems odd, given you run across the shrine so early.
Also, did you see a Shrill Lord spawn in, and get a message about some general who serves Karavox slaying it and giving you some soldiers?
nope. I'll try doing the burning Monastery quest and see if that triggers it. seems odd though; you'd think since the shrine is right next to where you start ch2, it would just trigger when you get to it. I'll rewind to before I got the first piece from the darkling village, and go do the
I've restarted this campaign twice now, and can't even get the Tyundii quest to trigger. using version 1.6. nothing happens when I visit the shrine after the beginning of chapter two. The only piece of Tyundii I ever find is from the darkling village. none of the other locations that are supposed to have a piece trigger. any ideas?
I've restarted the campaign twice now, and cannot get the Tyundii quest to trigger at all. I assume it is suppose to trigger right near the beginning of chapter 2, when you approach the shrine he used to guard? Nothing happens. the only piece of him I found was after defeating the darklings near the neutral town to the NE of the shrine. that's it. this is the latest version (just bought it on steam last week) <b
