Palm, Inc. (NASDAQ PALM) ended today at $4.14 per share. On 11/3/00 a share of PALM was worth $67.38. The day that PALM announced it was buying Be, the head of the Operating Systems unit, Alan Kessler, resigned. I don't see the acquisition of Be helping Palm.

I agree with Frogboy. If you are running 9x or (diety forbid) ME, there is a compelling reason to upgrade- your computer won't be broken so often. If you are running WIN 2K the reasons are less compelling. XP does support skinning better. That is a broad generalization, but true as far as it goes. That may not motivate everyone, but if you are reading a message board on Wincustomize, you are not everyone.
