ad, it seems that GalCiv2 won't have food distribution, although we never know what may be added if there's enough time. But right now, other issues are apparently more important.
as planned ... I don't remember exactly why this was cancelled, but I think it was because it wasn't as much fun as the developers hoped. I may be mistaken here though, my memory on that is very vague.
e is a thread "Exactly how will fleet combat work?" in this forum, in which Frogboy answers some questions about the topic. You might want to have a look at it in case you haven't done so already.
