I have a whole new respect for you guys now... chopping the psd file up and getting the contents to look right was a PITA. so here is the start menu. still have to move the user name over and then set the user icon to load inside the frame I made on the top bar. whew... didn't realize how much time would be involved in this. Thinking about what Zubaz said, I went back and did this one. Steven walked by while I was working on the girl in poser and said he liked this one better so this now is the final version of the start menu and everything else will be designed around it.
well...actualy this is the second attempt.. the first I really didn't like, but it sparked the concept. I wanted the girl to face away when the window was not the focus item and towards you when it was. I've scratched this one and am starting over and with a different girl this time. Was just wondering, here is the situation: I own a laptop that dual boots (XP and Vista) I own a license for WB6 that is tied to my email, which I keep sync'd between the 2 OS's. If I install on both OS's is that an infringment? and if so... does Stardock have a volume license agreement? Along those lines.... what about volume licenses for OD? I can see vast potential for locking down public/corporate pc's with that along with Active Directory's security policies. Dave Smith<br/

ummmm... gt3 doesn't come with a "hot chick".(at least the one I downloaded didnt)I'm guessing that is a screen shot of someone's desktop that has that particular wallpaper. If you paid for windows blinds, then download the skin and set your wallpaper with whatever "hot chick" you'd like.
funny.. I've never had any speed problems... but then, I have 4 bonded T1's for internet access and am running gigabit to the desktops. God, I love working for doctors that like instant gratification and are willing to PAY for it.lol. I'm sorry... was that gloating? I'll shut up now.
UPDATE : Thanks for the help but the person I was trying to create the thing for in the first place decided she didn't want it anymore so the project got scrapped. maybe I'll try again with one a little more simple than a college logo.

really strange thing, I made a bootskin with no progress bar. copied the ini from one of the sample bootscreens that also did not have a progress bar, edited my file names accordingly, zipped it up, changed the .zip to .bootskin, opened bootskin, imported, got a message that said "imported successfully", BUT.. the skin I made is not in the list to choose from. If I look at the bootskin folder the one I made is in there with the proper files also, but it just does not show up as a selection choic
HG Same here, I'm running W2KPro and Capsula 2nd Edition skin and it skinned my task bar just fine and dandy. but you're right that it doesn't skin the MENU.
