just because your intentions were good doesnt necessarily mean thats how the rest of the world would see it... your usurpation of the sorcerer king could be misinterpreted as an attempt to replace em... at which point you would have to use a combination of diplomacy, strength, and magic to either do so, or reunite the world in balance. i honestly feel like this idea is a must so as to truly capitalize on what the game is trying to do it would be an amazing final act to the sto

i really like some of your ideas Natasin, especially the notion of "alignment based victory conditions / quests", ie. incentives to play through the same game in a different manner - towards good ends, balanced ends, or evil ends. even just the idea of each sovereign class having their own victory condition in addition to the defaults, is a wonderful way of enhancing the games replayability. and i agree that we need more impactful ways of spicing up the story and creating variet

thank you! el does intrigue me quite a bit, im just leery of jumping down any more rabbit holes atm, and worlds of magic has caught my eye as well. plus ive read reports of weak ai and repetitive end turning in el, and something about what ive seen so far just seems stale and gamey. however it looks like all of these games will be getting big updates here pretty soon that will flesh them out, ill revisit this topic afterwords. these updates for aow
