In addition, I noticed that on the left, in File Explorer, "Documents" was listed X2 - 1st, being in truth the Desktop, had the Desktop icon - but was labelled as "Documents", 2nd, being in truth Documents, was correct. I was early on in my re-doing of my system, so I did yet another clean install of Windows 10. Have not yet installed Stardock software, other than Fences. Anyone else see this issue with Icon Packager?
I have had an Object Desktop subscription for a few years, and Icon Packager has always performed flawlessly on my PC. However, I just did a CLEAN install of the new Windows 10 Creators Update and Icon Packager started causing some major hang-ups with my system. Items pinned to Taskbar started vanishing, Start Button stopped working, Settings --> Apps endlessly spun, when I could get Start to open [did several reboots] the Tiles would not work. Odd ... I was notified yesterday through Object Desktop that Windows Blinds 10.6 was released. I installed & rebooted as prompted, but version number shows as 10.51. According to Object Desktop, I am up-to-date w/ 10.6. [e digicons]8C[/e]

I have been going crazy trying to update my PC to the 10 Anniversary Update. Was getting the black screen after logging in on the lock screen. Finally, performed a clean boot and narrowed it down to Windows Blinds 10. Not sure of the version, but I have it set to automatically update, so I assume it was the most recent one. Glad to see this is a known issue ... All my installed Stardock software shows up properly, all except for SpaceMonger. Object Desktop Manager does not recognize that program as having been installed.
It's just that the colors don't match. I guess I'll just do without Blinds.
No, I think you misunderstood. I AM seeing the skins taskbar. I am trying to figure a way to override that and see the color selected by Windows [for the taskbar & start menu] while ling the rest of the skin alone. It might not be possible. Right now, with Start 10 & WindowsBlinds 10 installed - and the setting in Windows to allow Windows to select a color for the taskbar & start menu enabled - I get the proper color for the start menu only, along with the full skin.
No ... I didn't. How? I switched to a skin - I forget its name - that has a clear transparency so at least the desktop image shows through & matches. I was using Acrylic 7 - which I like - but it maintains its dark blue taskbar color. Is there a setting I am missing?
Just bought a new computer ... haven't installed Start 10 yet, but I will now. However, I did have it on my old system and still had that "issue." Not a big deal, but I like the Stardock software, but would really like to have my taskbar match the start menu color-wise.
In Windows 10, there is an option to allow a color to be automatically selected from the desktop background that will compliment the Start Menu & Taskbar. That color will adjust as the background changes. When applying a skin from Windows Blinds 10, the taskbar will become a static color according to the skin selected. Start Menu remains unaffected. I agree ... fairly useless in its current state. I use version 1.07 on Windows 8.1. I can set charms color, lock-screen photo, etc., but eventually, Windows will override those settings and revert to back to what it wants. This is, btw, when logged in to a Microsoft Account. Not sure that it affects a non- Microsoft login.
I am using Decor8 1.06. Just updated from Windows 8 Pro w/ Media Center ---> Windows 8.1 Pro w/ Media Center [64-bit] on the official release date. Never used the Preview version of 8.1. I can set the color to, say, Green. The Start charm will turn Green. But it loses its setting every time there is a re-boot. In addition, my Lock Screen is fine with my custom image, but when I click on it to sign in, the screen is black, rather than green. This was not the behavior before the 8.1

I've redownloaded this several times ... same result ... Central - and, on occasion, a taskbar icon - are calling on me to get the update.
