Agree, although I think it should open the TRADE window since it does virtually everything the equip window does but also allows you to trade the items. At the very least you should be able to see the stats of an item in the item popup by hovering over the image.

I agree that there should be some way to prevent players from taking out the main AI stack and then steamrolling all the AI cities. The fact that you also assimilate those cities into your own kingdom without any real resistance is just [e digicons]x_x[/e]
As much as I absolutely hate seeing the beta delayed I have to say it is kinda important to deliver a good, working, version. If they release one with lots of known bugs they will get unnecessary bug reports to sort trough, wasting everyones time. If they release one which crashes it is both going to piss people off and make it harder to bug test. It is so much better that the beta is working as intended so we can test it properly and avoid frustration.
