Another tec opening is colony ship, max frigate. 2 civic research Colonize 3 planet Max planets income (population cap) put 1 trade port per planet. Rush to scouted choke points & grab choke point and expend reseach and fleet capacity. (remember to raise extractions tech with a ration of 1 or 2 per 2 fleet upgrades, it voids the upkeep cost kinda), Reinforce choke poitn whle you colonize... Build 2 nd capital, send the colony

the issues is lots of things can kill a SB from the well edge, like bombers. By the time you open a 4 upgrade orkulus, I can have a bunch of drones host. It's paper scissor, scout your opponent, if you see a rebel go strait for drone host or station killers combo.

an akkan will insure that you get extra range on your ogrov too, so if they upgrade to low range defences.

how much drone host do you have? You need s hit load, you can use them to harass by dropping edge of well killing of a cap and warping out. Alto that probably won;t save you but it does clean up defenses fast.

Sorry the Vasarie will all be out tonight, there is a lot of daemons in town and they all went to the bar, then tomorrow the devs will all call in sick... Like must of us will do cause there is that other game being released... Besides great marketing guys, 1 month after the big hits is usually when people start to look for new titles.

LOL you guys, talking about game time, just made me realize this game existed before WAY before trinity.... so many hours wasted argghhh. I remember that update they created where pirates where invincible after 5 or 6 raids.... good times.

Why armistice is there to protect your fleet until you decide you are ready to fight... (waiting on reinforcement, etc) If a players decides to go for the Akkan combo... The AI will stop using armistice if you pull your forces away, so technically you could kill the akkan with a single cap or two, as long as you have less fleet in the well. Then it will attack you.

You should always have a stack of javelins with your hoshiko, around your akkan, defended by a shield of kodiak/guard frigates. add in a pair of lvled morza and laugh at the incoming fleet.
