Hi, What the spells start all with a cost double than normal, this is crippling in my opinion. Pillar of flame has been totally nerfed whereas it was already rather weak.

Hi, I just discovered something rather cool, some techs can appear randomly in your game. The 4 'books of' techs for example may or may be not in your game. Now, this asks 2 questions. It seems to be governed by 2 data: 25 25 First question, why the 2 data are always same. Is one obsolete? Second question, with
Thanks for the answer
By that I mean you can't mod properly coreimprovements.xml for example, as the previous data are not erased correctly. So you have to edit directly the base file. Respectfully, I believe Stardock is making an error overall, to not commit more developers now in improving FE. It is clear from patch 1.2 that the changes are made by Derek and Brad and no one else, or perhaps an occasional fixing but that's it. I would have imagined that a developer would be full time fixing issues
has anyone tried the mod with 1.20?
Then it's simple, villages should have a 5 gold upkeep. Tower of Dominion should probably produces the same gold though. Or have the capital exempt from the cost, whatever.
Lets start with a THANKS! before criticizing!
Just give us production spill-over though.
Thanks for the feedback, I was not too sure and expected to abuse the system ;) Up to you to see if you should say that in the spell description. I find it pricey for a spell of such Death expertise now.
I have almost thought you were trolling, Winnihym, but then I thought you are just not considering that some people might be different, compared to you... This is a turn based game. I don't want a freaking continuous time game, like Paradox games (they are fine btw). I want to be able to design my own units, because I like that. This is as if you were saying that science-fiction games should not allow you to customize your ships. And so on. YMMV... T
yeah! Do you want feedback about the patch Kael? I mean, some of us for example are skimming through the vanilla data files after each patch and we notice little titbits of things that can need a fix, patch after patch. For example Mantle of Ocean has no upkeep, is it WAD or not. We have several remarks like that.
Lets hope the expansion or the one after this one will allow that (it was present in master of magic!). Your proposal would mean a lot of work plus a large interface cluttering when choosing spells to cast.
It disappears after combat, was it expected?
I find this sorely lacking, the possibility to debuff an opponent or at least remove debuff from one of your unit. I mean you have your hero blinded and it stays as is for the rest of battle, even with an archmage around?
and if for a level up ability, like I would like an ability to be open either for champions for Path of Warrior or Path of defender?
Hi, If I add 2 prereqs to an ability, does it means that I need both or either one will allow the ability? TIA

Also, one way to tie the two facets together is about how the items are sold. To equip properly your heroes, your should have the correct building built (which is also unlocked by a tech), this way either you totally rely on what you find in quests (and this is very random by nature) or you can equip your heroes with what your nation produce.
Honestly I too am surprised by the low rate of feedback on bug reports we post in support. Most posts are not acknowledged, and most bugs reported are still there the patch after. FE is still a good game, but it seems that the crew is not responding since mid december.
I did not take FTL on the ground it can be repetitive, am I wrong? As for the expansion pack, I think many of us want more 'high fantasy' content also, i.e new weird races and such like.
or a 1 influence upkeep, should prevent the stack of 1 champion + 8 henchmen, all with shieldwall and experience bonus
I started the campaign in 1.01, something like 3 hours put into it, then switched to random maps. Now the question is, is the campaign fun and worth the time spent, or can I safely stick to random maps? ps: I already put quite some hours in random maps, so perhaps this can be a welcome change for a while?
I can confirm, with screenshots if you need them, that the AI is using my design. You must have played the faction before though, for example Pariden is using right now a design called 'Rank Archer' which is definitively from me. As for upgraded outposts, side question, what happens with several outpost providing the same bonus in the area? Say 2 stables, do I move at 3x speed, or 3 abbey, do I produce mana when I cast spells (or they cost 0, which is

Thankfully no! While the AI is worked on by me, the other things that get updated are done by others. Most of the FE team is working on a follow-on to FE (the expansion) but as they find bugs and such they do backport them.[/quote] Excellent! I gu
