The XML is likely still very volatile and subject to changes, but I thought I would start the mammoth task of ridding it of typos. I'm not even going to touch sentence structure and the rampant use of commas, but there are some fairly obvious mistakes that need to be fixed. This bug is the result of a bigger issue regarding the timing of events .
There seems to be an issue with the order and timing of processing events, both player initiated and AI initiated. When an event happens, like being attacked by the AI, or auto resolving a battle, the UI should focus on that event and not jump to something else until the first event is completely resolved. Here are some examples of what I mean. When you click auto resolve on a battle, the map jumps to the next available unit. Meanwhile, back at the battlefield, a cut
I think the WM_CLOSE and following is related to shutting down the game. I did manage to eventually play about 60-70 turns without having to save and restart, but by that time 4 of my 6 opponents were dead. I had also turned the autosave time to every 25 turns. Zero apparently doesn't disable autosave. Maybe the hang is related to something in processing the AI turns.
