Reply to Eador in PC Gaming

Sorry Glazunov1 but your advice is not that good. Money and XP are two resources in this game. Crystals are always in abundance unless you play wizard as 1st char and spam spells. Best play is the one that produces most money in least turns. Exploring your province first is a waste or turns. Human provinces are easy targets, so are barbarian ones. Orc ones as well as well as Undead ones. Those you should conquer as soon as possible. More provinces = more money. You also fight there and get xp
Just block the air vents and water/power/sewage lines... no need for violence. Of course, that's assuming they aren't into cannibalism.
I don't think the police have the right to do that lol.

As an average user on Internet, what I found more interesting in this story is that Cyberbunker is actually housed in a real NATO bunker that was built to withstand nuclear and biological warfare. Also it was never officially reclaimed to Netherlands territory so the people living inside have proclaimed it Republic of Cyberbunker and given themselves titles of Kings and such. Bunch of crazy people :D Also police tried to force entry into the bunker but could not. Even SWAT came and fa

I am still on the ropes. I spent a few hours playing it and could not come back to playing it for some reason. I will wait for finished product until I give my score. But as far as Betas goes, it is way better then FE beta. A more "simple" game like Eador is still better to me then this. Maybe it is that the combat is still too simple and uninteresting.

Only bug so far that I ran into is in 1st battle, I had my mage sovereign, summoned warg and 2 starting units against 4 wolf packs. 2 packs spawned near my sovereign that was alone and 2 spawned next to other 3 units. The maps was some with huge shard in the middle of map. You should fix spawn points on this map, with no control over spawn positions people will lose ranged units on this map like crazy even with melee support in groups.

Actually fast clicking is as much skill as you can get in electronic environment. BTW, it is not just fast clicking, it might look like that to a someone like you that didn't really try to get better but just rage quit and then started bashing it on forums. What you call fast clicking is actually simultaneous planning and executing those plans. You don't fast click because it is the cool thing do to, you fast click because one game on average lasts 10-20 min and the game
This game is intentionally locked in gaming medieval era, because the Korean competitive teams would go nuts otherwise. Limited 5 item queue? Check. Stupid units needing of babysitting? Check. Lot's of tactical abilities dependent on fast clicking? Check. Inability to zoom? Check. Lack of adjustable, advanced behaviors of units? Check. <

Well I am excited for this game, although I am not sure I will support their kickstarter. I am kind of broke at the moment :D For same reason I didn't support Project Eternity. For both projects I hope I will be in better situation once the time comes to buy them when they are finished :D Good thing I supported Wasteland 2 and Grim Dawn back when I could afford such things. BTW, I bought GoG version PST about 6 months ago and played it for 5-6h

Sc2 multiplayer was not much different then Sc1 multiplayer. Don't know about what rinse and repeat you are talking about. Also it is same in a shooter or MOBA game. Only MP games that have is somewhat different are MMORPGs and they are different only until end game raids where you do same raid every week. And while in MMORPG you grind to make your character better in SC2 you grind to make yourself better. Also there are now lots of custom maps that let you have a lot of dif
Crytek isn't that successful either. They're well managed and turn a profit, but the difference between an absurdly cutting edge engine and being more intelligent about resource utilization is exponential. Just from retail, Half-life 2 outsells it 4-1, and Valve wont even tell us how loaded they get from Steam sales. One is an institution, the other a benchmark. Benchmarks aren't the targe

Well Starcraft 2 is 2nd biggest Esports title after LoL, so I would not call RTS dying. And on the Hawawaa list new C&C Generals is missing :)

Lol @Ptarth: DS1 is not better then Diablo 1 or 2. And TA is not better then Starcraft 1, not even better then WC3. One could argue some C&C series of games are also better. These games might be better to you but then don't go stating bullshit like " No one else in the industry has come close to these masterpieces".

If it doesn't reach it's goal, you don't get billed for your pledge.
They are not talking about this. They are talking about it gets 1.1 million but the game never gets finished. Then you lost money and got nothing.
Quoting TorinReborn, reply 5It is unfortunate that Wildman does not seem at all interesting to me and I normally like arpg games. Maybe if it gets finished I might change my mind after I see trailers, demos and read people experiences. Maybe the hybrid system is what turns me off. Did you read the second update? After reading it the game appeared more interesting to me.
No, actually it seems even less interesting.

I tried Demigod. As a dota player for many years, Demigod was crap as MOBA game. No way around it. I cannot see any bigger other reason it didn't end well. Dota also worked over RTS netcode but that didn't stop it from becoming more popular then WC3 and start its own type of game genre.
