Copywright Question in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Ok, I have an odd and probably obvious question about copywrights on icons. Is it ok to like alter/reproduce/add to programs icons as long as you give credit? Like I see a lot of icon packs that have the little adobe photoshop icon as part of another icon (a photoshop file or whatever) Im also asking because I cannot find a good object-dock icon for a program I use a lot and I want to reproduce the small icon so that it looks good as a big icon....sorry if that made no sense, lo

1. what do you mean? like how do you make it so the bar doesnt sit on top of your programs? if thats the case just right click the bar, and check where it says autohide, it works just like the normal taskbar autohide 2.yea just load objectdock multiple times, its kind of pointless however since all of the bars will be exactly the same 3. not that i know of... so-far objectbar is a great program..but they have a lot of work to do.. does it annoy anyone else that you

Oops i meant an iconpackager skin...but what do u mean 'classic' mode? if i was in windowblinds how would i still be in classic mode?

Whenever I apply a windowblinds skin all of the icons work right except the start menu icons...they dont show up. Thanx in advance for helping.

How much ram do you have? If its anywhere less than like 512 you're going to have problems runing photoshop and windowblinds at the same time and still having a somewhat normal speed in photoshop (at least I did). However...ram is really cheap these days, look around on the net and in shops in your area. I found a good 256 chip for 10 bucks!

i know how to animate...the cursor is animted...i was wondering what he meant when he said "the point rotated up & side to side (like the gray, XP default cursor does)." sorry if i get annoying with my questions...

Well...somone just posted this as a comment on my first cursor (black and blue if u want to check it out..) "This cursor would be just about perfect,if the point rotated up & side to side(like the grey,XP default cursor does)." I was just wondering if somone could tell me what he meant? lol, sorry I'm a bit slow sometimes.

its on the current featured skin (runite whatever...i forgot the name) i like how on some skins they have the cool little quick-launch menu or whatever u want to call it... and also..i have a sort of n00b question about cursorxp if anyone wants to answer... i have a cursor i want to animate...but the online tutorial doesnt help me enough....do i have to have seperate image files for each frame? or what? because when i have it in all one image it either shows a

oh....ok...That button does work and i know what it does... its another button that u can turn on/off in.out whatever....on most of the thmes its on it looks like a pushpin or something

Ok so just clarifying...it basically just jumps to the top of whatever you're looking at? like a long text document or webpage? If so, cool...and thanx for the info Im fairly new to skinning...and Im mad because i had had WINXP for over a year not knowing about windowsblinds, and being mad that xp only had 3 themes (that wernt old windows looks)

the best way i have found is either make a new color layer and put it over top of the image u wish to colorize or go to image-adjustments-hue/saturation

thank you very much and also, if i may ask another question... in file windows the area on the left that has stuff like other places, and details is still blue...which looks rather tacky on a lot of skins...how may i fix/change that?
