Ran into the same problem earlier today. Funny though, I saved the game, exited and restarted the game. Loaded the saved game and it was fine. I could build where I couldn't before. Go figure.......
Nice interview Brad.........[e digicons]B)[/e]

I've played alot of the X series. While I've found no other space game that really makes you feel like you're out there with a whole universe and a ton of things to do, be ready to sink alot of time into reading the forums and alot of head scratching. It will suck alot of time out of your life.
Good......I was hoping it would be something that simple as I'll be doing the same thing in a few months.
I use the cloth map only to see the whole area. After playing in the 3D world, the cloth map seems.....well, kinda flat and bland. Have you tried checking the Enable Quick Move box? Moves you faster on the 3D map.
Almost first, Great news
If you enjoy this game, you probably would like Star Ruler [e digicons][/e]
Heck, I'm still waiting for Matrix games to drop the price on the Carriers at War. The game was made in 2007 and they still want $49-59 for it. I can't see paying that for a 4 year old game that uses a Geforce 2 and is not that great of a game, but I love sea battles. It should be $9.99. Grrrrrrrr[e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
Creatures look and sound awesome. I'm excited!!!![e digicons]:D[/e] ....................and just alittle bit scared[e digicons]8O[/e]

Same here, no real problem as I remember with the language translation I bought it when it first came out, way back when. I tried to load it on my recent computer but it has a copy protection and Vista won't accept it. Actually I'm was kinda glad. Like most games, it's fun for awhile but then gets repetitive.
I'm fairly excited about this. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:pizza:[/e] I wonder if the system requirements will be the same? Although it's good to have a reason to give my wife on why I"m getting a new computer around summer time.
This has been brought up before and hopefully they will resolve that problem. You're locked into that screen until you make a choice. You can hit "tab" and bounce to different cities. But that screen is stil in the way often blocking the city you want to view. Keeping my fingers crossed for a fix.
I like the looks of it. Screen shots look great too[e digicons]B)[/e]
Looks like fun..........[e digicons]B)[/e]
Alot of people here with nothing to really do......................guess I'm one of them[e digicons]8C[/e]
Awesome.................or has that been said before.[e digicons]B)[/e]
I wish rear attacks meant something. As it is now, if I work my way around enemy units to attack from the rear on the world map, I end up on the battlefield face to face with them and I might not even get the first attack. Shouldn't I be setup behind the enemy with 1st attack plus a large bonus for a surprise rear attack. That way a weaker force could defeat or at least neturalize a much larger force. Of course the same thing could happen to my forces. It woul
