The problem I see is that I think most of us can agree that knowing what (little) has been announced for 1.3 it's hard for me to imagine how 1.3 can make this game fully better/more fun to the point where there will be universal praise and the subsequent continuation of work on it. So what are we supposed to do then, praise it just so we can hope for 1.4 and beyond? And considering how few people are working on EWOM now.. how long will any of these changes come. To me the difference is, and always will be that Civ5 (warts and all) is something I come back to every once in a while when I have time. The only thing I do EWOM related is check the boards to see if anything has come out to make it more fun and more playable. I keep telling myself I'll check it out now that 1.2 came out, but then I remember that 1.2 was only bug fixes and didn't have any of the alleged "fun" stuff that allegedly will be in 1.3 whenever that's done.

Sounds like lots of potential. Then again, so did EWOM and look how that turned out. Hard for me to get excited about FE when EWOM pretty much..um.. missed the mark. I've been only bitching for a while, so I'll say, "looks good" I hope that the dynasty hand over thing gets fine tuned later, I think it should go to the highest remaining child not automatically to highest relation because then it simply becomes a race to marry each kingdoms first born. I'd like the first born to automatically become Sov and be totally neutral so everyone now gets a clean slate to try things with new Sov. However, sooooo much better than *poof* dissappearing.</

The dynasty system is completely and irrevocably broken. I'm tired of even asking about it.. they've not made a single mention of it being something they'll work on. They won't even fix it so that you can re-marry. I can't belive (knowing absolutely nothing about programming) that it's difficult to do. And your issue is more a reflection on the AI in general as during negotiations it's simply rediculously stupid. Why ask for something that can't be done?
