I like the new monster aggressiveness a lot, I don't want to see it nerfed, but AI factions really need to start defending. I'm playing on challenging right now (world and AI factions), started with 6 AI factions and 4 of them have been wiped out by monsters already. I only had a chance to discover one of them so far, and literally two turns later I saw their last army wiped out by spiders. I'm just hoping I can find the other 2 factions before they die off too.

Completely agree, and at the very least remove Shockwave from the auto-resolve list. Once a champion learns it I simply can't auto-resolve any more because they will drain my entire mana pool in a single fight by spamming it even against single targets.

Did you have your Sov in the city or just a normal champion? Just happened to me again, same city, same champion, another set of trolls. This time is was an obsidian helm. The champion has high str and plenty of pack space so it's not "out of space" or anything.

Pretty sure the AI has been upgraded so monsters attack cities more often, which is great. I just had a troll army attack one of my cities with a champion stationed in it as a defender, won the battle and it said I got a chain helmet, but I never got it. It didn't show up on my champion in the city, nor my sov who was like 20 tiles away.

I think being able to equip faction colored armor to our units would be a huge improvement to unit diversity. Make it just like the clothing options where you have the base colored armor (what we have now), the primary colored armor and the secondary colored armor. While you're at it I'd like to see upgrades to weaker armor as the new armor tiers are unlocked, purely cosmetic alternatives to the same armor. I would guess it was related to her encumbrance, like the game refused to unequip it because she didn't have enough room to hold it. That staff was the only thing she had on her, and it was enough to send her over the pack limit with just -1 strength. So she had really low base str.

At this point I'm pretty sure exp is based off stats, and I was trying really hard to play a death mage type character and my only option in low levels is to stack wither while other units attack "safely." It seems like stacking wither reduces exp drastically (or there's something else at play). I tried challenging and I tried a non-int based sov, still crap exp. I can get to level 2 after a few fights sure, but that's a freebie level, and then I'm sitting at level 2 or 3 on turn 150. It's not even that I'm just fighting lower level stuff.

Found a champion named Miruca, she started with a basic staff thing. First fight she died and got a -1 str wound which left her encumbered. I tried to unequip her staff but it wouldn't work, so I tried selling it, I got the money but didn't lose the staff, so I could sell it over and over.

Cap it at 2 extra hits with -10 and -20 acc. Even today after the nerf I've had 6 hit maul chains land on my characters. Honestly until it's nerfed much more it's just going to cause people to reload a lot. What's the point of talents like double attack anyway if maul is just so much better?

I must be encountering some sort of bug then, because I am literally getting 1 or 6 exp from many tough fights. I've started 3 new games today and each time I get stuck because I can't level fast enough to deal with the crap around me before it gets too strong. I haven't even been able to hit level 4 all day. I'm not talking about discussing the future mechanics, but for example there are a lot of balance issues right now and with "secrets" we don't know if those are issues that we should talk about or if it's going to fall into line once the secret system is implemented. Same can be said for areas we feel have "holes" in them, if you already plan to fill those holes then there's no point in us pointing them out. The warfare and city management parts of the game need a ton of work, they sucked in WoM and they suck only slightly less in FE. Is there a city icon in your city list to the left of the screen? There's a bug that's been around since early WoM that causes some or all of the buildings in a city to become invisible randomly, it's usually corrected by building something else in the city which can usually be done by selecting the city from your city list if it's become totally invisible. I've already seen this happen a few times in FE so it hasn't been fixed yet. If it's gone from your list too

For the lava area there were two green (treasure icon) stone circle things, taking both of them gave me no items but once I hit the second one the green area disappeared and I could build an outpost in there. This was after I killed the boss, which I didn't actually kill he just auto-died because his stack was too large to fit into the battle and he wasn't one of the ones that showed up in the fight. That was the only wildlands I've found so far.

I think as far as tactical combat goes we need more spells per tier, but each champion/sov should be limited to one school, maybe two in very special cases. The tactical spell bar just doesn't work well with 4 schools of spells cluttering it up. More strategic spells unlocked by talents would be nice too.
