That's exactly what I'm hoping to avoid. It's easier to kick them all out of city, and then order some back in.

This applies to both FE and LH. I find it very annoying that at certain times the game is asking me to make a choice via a pop-up window, and I want to get more information about the choice but can't because the window is frozen until the choice is made. For example, when your city hits level 2 and you must choose fortress/town/conclave. I'd like to be able to remind myself of what's in the ciy and its surrounding area before making the choice, but can
With all this talk about Master of Magic, I was wondering if everyone knew you can now download a real, not bootleg, version playable on Windows 7. Go to GOG.com to check it out. The graphics are still crude, but can be smoothed out woth some tweaks. I just mentioned MoM in a post I made about the city interface - LH could take a lesson from MoM in how to allow you to select units in a city so they can move out as a group.
Oh yes, all the time. In my last game, my main army included Ascian, a cave bear and an umberdroth. Plus I recruited Tuatha. Though they looked like the bar scene in Star Wars, they kicked ass. Those hoarder spiders are nasty - especially with Venom III.
First of all, I like it. I like it a lot. One of things that distinguishes FE from other similar games is the role-playing element, and with LH I think this aspect has been strengthened. That said, here are some thoughts: 1. I loved the Ascian quest. Please add more of these random quests - they really spice up the game. But speaking of Ascian, please give her better movement in combat. She rarely got to use her special ability because by the time s
This is the second time in about 6 plays that the city and army list in the upper left corner of my screen has disappeared. I thought perhaps I had mistakenly hit a hotkey to toggle it off, but could not find a way to turn it back on. It of course makes it very tough to monitor your cities for new production.
I played the original Elemental, and have been playing each version of the Beta. I have to say things have really improved with each release, to the point now where it's becoming that classic "just one more turn" kind of game. I like the RGP element of the game, and now focus much more on my leaders than my troops. I like to try out different leader styles, e.g., melee only, summoner, critical hit specialist, with each new game. I do have two suggestio
