I like this also in tactical battles it would really be nice if I could easily find my Sovereign and his spouse or spawn! Mine end up using similar looking armor and are hard to differentiate from the other troops It could , and has ended badly for me when I get button happy!
I really enjoyed the battery of Betas you guys pumped out, I wish you could have done it when I was out of work and had some time to play test! So far like 20 turns in, it seems stable!! I disagree, I would like to be able to play for 12 hours without a crash, lets deal with that before we start dealing with balance issues. I agree with the OP as things are getting better, CTDs don't happen every 15 minutes anymore! Just to make an analogy you don't paint the house until it is structurally sound. Well in most cases you don't, I love to make money off of the people that decide that is the way it is done!
CTD is a Crash To Desktop not the same as a total crash that results in a hard reboot of your system!

a-squared makes a nice free remover, I have not tried it personally but it saved a good friend of mine from a reinstall, as far as getting your games from Stardock , if you registered them with Impulse you should be able to download it again and reinstall them from there. that is what I am hoping anyway as I am looking at more or less the same thing! msconfig gets down nice and low in os and should tell you whats up!
Reading through this, I tend to agree with Island Dog. Sounds like you need a reinstall, Check majorgeeks.com for Trojan Removers and go through them If you are trying to save data but there is a good chance that it has embedded itself in something you may want to save. If you have a clean backup before you noticed this issue that may help. Nasty little things though, they can be timed to go off after setting dormant for months. try all the advice you see here before a reinstall if your data

Getting Hyper Transport Flood Errors frequently, never happened before. Was able to get the game to run for 2 hours before hard lock by running in Win Vista Compatibility Mode. I am going to have to quit testing until this issue is dealt with. Something is really messing with the hardware in my system, I can't run the Windows performance scan any more. system locks halfway through.
