If drawing with a pencil is what you find natural then maybe you should consider a graphics tablet? I have a WACOM Graphire 2 and it was a steal. They are incredibly cheap these days for what they do. I would highly recomend it. Pressure sensitivity adds a whole new dimension to photoshop...does PSP support pressure? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered b

If you can't afford something like Photoshop then ther is always The GIMP which is a free photoshop clone originally written for Linux but that has also been ported to windows: http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/ GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program
>> jtb: Like when the screensaver comes one. And even then why use 100% of your CPU? Why? because all the DC client is doing is number crunching...lots and lots of number crunching...if you arent using your computer and its running it will use all available power to crunch said numbers. most programs you use day to day spend most of their time idle...not in the case of a DC Client it runs at low priority all the time using as much power as it can...low priority means that it si

Yeah its the same Styl, FF is 255 in hexadecimal. And yeah I tried than myself not to long ago, doesn't work

yrag: as long as you have a cooling solution that keeps your processor within Intel/AMD specs for your processor then you can flog it as hard as you like...there are no moving parts here. An AMD AthlonXP/MP processor is 'safe' up to 80°C thats its burnout point. As long as you keep it a safe margin under that (my dual AthlonMP 2000+'s run at ~56°C under full load and that's overclocked from 1800+, having two AMD ovens in one case produces a lot of heat) it will last you the 25 years that they
(I am doing that smallpox unfolding to find a cure for smallpox) This is whats causing it...Distributed Computing clients such as this make use of your CPU idle time. In other words when ever your computer isnt needing the processor this program will use it and use as much as it can get. As soon as you open a program and start using it the DC client will scale its CPU use back so as to not interfere with what you are doing. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=
Just a comment on the VBScript vs JScript thing... JScript is faster than VBScript, why? Because JScript is sort of half compiled before execution and VBScript isnt. They call the technique Byte Compiling, your script gets turned into to ultra small 'bytecode' before execution which can be interpreted much faster than VBScript. On the other hand VBScript would be easier to get the hang of if you have no experience with any programming. There is also the small issue with the fact that JSc
You need the Stardock program called "DesktopX" you can get a free version here: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/ The free version has some limits. Once you have installed DesktopX you can then download the theme and it will install automatically

I believe that functionality doesnt have to be foregone in favour of visual appeal. Any DX designer worth their salt will achieve both. I am currently working on a series of plugins for DX that will allow DXer's complete freedom visually when it comes to things like meters. pjpowel mentioned WMI, well my first plug to be released (don't hold your breath, it's being developed in my spare time) will be using WMI and MBM data to provide system information to the user. Visually the user will pro

"I'm sure the 'US' knows exactly what it's doing....they've done it before..." ...And failed. "I dont think that Iran will get into it, but i am more worried with what N. Korea might try once(if) we are preoccupied with Iraq. Has anyone thought of that?" And exactly what is Korea going to 'try'? All they have done is forcefully take their privacy back. Not everyone other than Americans are evil, psychotic portents of the devil you know...sheesh!
This is without a doubt the best screensaver I have ever come across. Very, very nice. It's a user configurable slideshow with a difference. Try it out, you wont regret it. http://www.greggman.com/nostalgic/ Hope this brings you much enjoyment.
I have just come home, a week ago, from spending two weeks with my sister in Canberra. She lives in the suburb of Kambah. As it stands at the moment 39 homes in Kambah have been destroyed including two only 5 doors up from my sisters house. They are, thank God, ok and miraculously have suffered zero fire damage to their property although houses all around them were either destroyed or badly damaged. My brother in law, Martyn, had to help put out a fire at the neighbours house across the road

Point of logic? 1. What has Porn got to do with wincustomize 2. Why wouldnt warez users come here? Oh stuff it, that's the last thing I say. Im not going to get wrapped up in some silly argument.
Away from the computer?..... WÿtRaven stretches out on the desk to get some sleep
Oh for the love of God d1g3r4t1, just shut up and go away What you are proposing is simply impossible. Not only that but your "story" has become the most elaborate collection of bull**** i have ever come across. Here's what I propose as the most likely cause of your problem: You were surfing a porn/warez site in the background whilst mass unziping logons and got caught by a web-popup. Deal with it. >
Probably not the most appropriate place to air this, but hey, ya get that. I would really like to see support added to SDPlayer for the Logitech iTouch family of keyboards. They feature multimedia buttons (volume control, play/pause, stop, forward, back, mute). I would really, really like to see support for this added as I wasnt to use an embedded MP3 player in my DesktopX setup but still want to b
