I don't like how the third skeleton on the right is positioned... I expect you to fix this before release.

Keep up the good work Brad + team! Looks like you have improved the graphics even further, I like it!
Note to Frogboy: I will pay mucho $ for DLC with new races that don't look like humans.
The game lacks complexity, content and replayability. Other than that it's ok I guess. It might be fun in MP though. I'm 100% sure there will be large amounts of DLC with new races etc, so maybe it will get better later on.
I was once offered 10 magic knowledge for 10 magic knowledge...
This would give me a reason to upgrade to Win 7, so I say go for it.
Would I pay a dollar? It depends on what kind of multiplayer you're planning. I would love to design my own units and fight with them in some sort of skirmish mode. But playing the entire game in MP is nothing I have time for.
I'm not sure it was fair of me to vote "fair"... The more I play the more I enjoy it. With the upcoming adjustments to city building I think this will be close to excellent. I do crash more than I have with any previous beta though.
If it's too much, then folks will just raze every time, pioneers are cheap.
At least in the last beta you could not build a new city on the same place where you had razed one. The resources grain/material was gone. So there's an incentive to occupy instead of razing.
I would like to point out that this thread will not be updated further. Feel free to keep using it though. If someone wants to start a new thread for the current beta, feel free to do so as well.
blah blah... I hereby relenquish my rights to the purchased products in my account. I want you to take them back. They are again yours. Add them to your pile of toys.
See if you can close your forum account as well. That will do the trick.
Now coming up in beta 4 is the new city system which will result in smaller looking cities (far fewer tiles on the map) but a lot more city improvements to choose from in total but fewer in a particular city (cities will specialize and that specialization will make available exclusive techs that require that city type). But that won’t be coming for awhile. But just something to remember when making requests on cities.
I rea
Voted Fair. The AI seems to have gotten its IQ decreased since last beta. It's not attacking anymore. I can wipe out everyone and everything with my sov and some champs. There's very little point in training units, which is kind of sad because the unit design is a very unique feature that this game has. City building and tech tree are just in the game because they have to be. They add little, if any, entertainment. My suggestion is, take the boring and
I was exiting a game when this screen popped up: So I clicked open research, tech tree shows up with a mix of main menu and game in background. I click cancel, Verga shows up in the sov selection screen you get when creating a new game (!). I click cancel, the game exits.
They have now removed "or later" in the system requirements. :)
Thanks for the heads up. This is the first Kickstarter project I find really interesting.
Can you create that thread Manii when the time comes? You're the one who deserves the karma here anyway, not me. :)
I love how cheerfully Brad says "What this does is open a gate into hell". He's destroying an entire world but it sounds like he's baking cupcakes.
I for one am interested in what for people who see those visuals above, the take away is. What makes the ones that work for you, work? Is it atmosphere? If so, which of the images do you find have atmosphere, and what makes them atmospheric--as opposed to the others? Is it something other than atmosphere?
For me it is how realistic it looks. If you look at the AoW:SM screenshot, the units fit perfectly into
He's playing an old preview version. The graphics is much more polished in the current version of the beta. Edit: This video looks like the current beta: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5T1Wz-LEv4&feature=player_embedded#!
Ah ok. Yes it is based on the same engine I believe.
It is actually much more civ5 than elven legacy.
Make it good guys, no rush. We all seem to be busy playing Grimrock anyway. :)
Quoting Magog_AoW, reply 3If Triumph studios are working on AoW3 it will be interesting to see how they handle the transition to 3D. Are there any clues that it is the case?
Some extremely vague clues. On their website they are looking for people who can do high fantasy art in 2D and 3D. Also, the original writer for AoW1 recently made an appearance on the forums, asking which AoW characters the fans liked the most
