Using IE is just dumb. The other night I accidentally loaded IE, and within an hour had 4 pieces of spyware on my machine. Firefox is gaining on average, 1-2% marketshare per month, while IE is losing that much. If this keeps up, in about 15 months Firefox will be in the lead. I'm still in awe so many nOoBs use IE.
Problem is, Alexa can be fooled. I even noticed theres companies selling 100k or less Alexa ratings for $9. I read of a few ways to do it as well. So i'm sure overall, it might be ok, but I suspect there are many sites that used trickery for their scores.

So why stop there? Why not just give half to them, and say "Why does $50 matter when i'm making a 100$?". This is nothing more than a Re-Badge of Giant, which has been around for years, and Microsoft bought them a few weeks ago. Interesting enough, Microsofts deal didn't include the database, so they can't touch the updates for it unless they payoff another company. Its bloatware, fairly effective for people that use IE, almost useless for Firefox users - and fairly substantial bloatware. Lots of false positives on this one, beware. Spy
