I'm not saying I don't play FPS games I'm just saying of all the genre's its the one I am least satisfied with, I did play rainbow six, Deus Ex was kinda boring to me, And I hated fallout 3 because I wandered around the city killing stuff for like 12 hours, looking for my dad, I was like when is this game going to get to the point. I never found him. I would still be looking but now I'm playing a few other games. so no time to look for dad. Maybe Dad will make an appearance in Element

I play Video games, and work, and go shopping for stuff, and play with my cats. my social life is all but gone since college, since everyone has scattered across the country
I'm sure if customization is added to the game as downloadable content, there will be quite a few people that will write their own story's into dungeon's and such so that will be cool.
Deepone - That Avatar, Was my man in Mom, and Deep ones, good ol X-com Tftd.
Thats right Number 1, Man I love cat's, my first character when I played Wow was Ash, I was pretty happy when I got the "boom stick", if I could have got a chainsaw for my arm. rather then a sword it would have been sweet.
The hair? :P
Nah my Aion and Wow characters look like me as well :P There my Avatar is my picture now, and my real name is Ash, and this is my cat Merlin.
It looks Average to me, I won't be buying it, But what I would like to see is more epic space battles that the old Moo2 game had, I liked customizing my ships, and using the weapons in 2d space combat, turn based - I hate how its all gone pause play, action now. I like Galactic Civilization, I just wish the combat in some of these new games brought back the fun of the old school turn-based combat systems, like moo2, mom, or x-com, I loved spending the time playing those battles.
Multi-core GPUs, wouldn't mind a quad-core video card. but good luck having windows, or anything support it for the next 25 years :P
I wouldn't say I found any FPS extremely difficult since many of them have not really progressed past the doom level of engineering, theres been like maybe 5 that I've actually enjoyed in the last 15 years, 3 Being Unreal Titles, The other being Red Faction because of their use of the destructable enviroment, and Hidden & Dangerous. other then that, its heres 9 weapons go kill a bunch of crap the only challenge really being the speed at which your capable of moving the mouse and knowing t
Ya I haven't bought a Console system since I had the same experience with the PS2 $800 when if first came out and 3 months till I got a disk read error and it never worked again. I sink all my money into computers now, 90% of anything that comes out for Xbox hits PC at some point, and my computer is better :P
Its cool, I would just use him initially to build a few town's then horde him in my capital, thats what I usually do in these game's :P hes like your king in chess, hes mostly useless, but he can get you sometime's .
I would say that an underground would add the dimension of knowing the lay of the underworld, your could put stronger monsters down there, of course it would not be as large as the map above, just tunnel's and such that lead to different area's of the map, or deeper into the world where even more devious creatures live. better treasures etc. I have not seen dungeon's yet this may be what they have in mind, it would be a completely different enviroment from the way the main map looks, and as f
Id rather go with the first option as well, more of a challenge. makes you think more.
Nah I tried closing the screen, did not work. 2 differences from anything else I've done is. >The city I was attempting to build in was Conquered I did not build it. > The farming area was a square out from the city, not right next to it, however I surrounded the slot In housing an Inn and a barracks, and i still couldn't place a farm in it.
I don't really mind a huge amount of micro management in a game, I loved that Civilization I was able to expand to my desire, where as I thought call to power destroyed the freedom of the game because you were only aloud a certain amount of city's before you started getting civil unrest, which isn't very realistic, Imagine telling a country of today they could only have 10 city's or the people would revolt against them. Although having a Sovereign only be able to govern a certai
I didn't even figure out how to mine magic yet, I like those rings of might, are there any other cool items anyone found>?
I had 12 city's at the time, all which I built farms in. it was like this I captured the enemy's city, and they had build it not next to the farm squares but one away, so instead of appearing like this (Excuse the crude Diagrams, the { } are blank spaces for building C is the city F is the farm slot, and H is house) { } { } { } { } C F { } { } { } It was like this when I captured it, there was no farm option { } { } { } { } C
Its hard to say at this point whats going on really, I mean we are at stage 1 of beta 1, its just initial compatibilty right now, I would guess that most the research and stuff isn't even implemented at all yet.
So when I complain about my ISP I'm not lieing :P course its better then dial-up
Earth 2160 - Is good usually overlooked 4 playable different tactics to playing them all, not just carbon copys. It was decent I still have it installed.
UO shards, haha I used to play UO religiously, I loved that game, I still have it installed.
If it captured the original feeling of X-com it would be sweet, most the inspired ones did an alright job but it didn't have the same feel as the originals. I like to see a remake of syndicate as well, but since EA owns it. I hope I don't :P haha
I captured a city of an enemy, and they had built their city a square out from a farm, i expanded the city out and around the farm spot with house's but was still not able to build a farm in the farm slot,.
You know what might be cool as well though, since the game has a cloth map with an ocean perhaps alternate maps for a underworld, or an over world (like floating continents) rather then oceans you would see rock or sky, then there would be other dimensions to explore in the same map. you could find a cave that took you into the underworld, or some type of ancient translocator device that would take you from the ground and into the clouds, and you could make a map that shows clouds rather then
