From June 29: "So we worked on the randomized map generation until we got something we liked except that each map took approximately 5 minutes to generate. It’s something we’ll probably release in the future still." Please release it. I don't mind if it takes 5 or 55 minutes to generate a decent random map, as long as there is a time warning.
Me too. (Both 2B versions) When I press the Kingdom Button, Elemental dies and I receive a small window stating that EWoM encountered a problem and needs to close. It asks if I want to inform MS. I was playing on the cloth map and could not figure out why my unit refused to walk over plain land: It was plain on the cloth map but there were mountains on the zoomed in map. Most of the mountains showed up on the cloth map, but these were just missing.
The Elemental Limited Edition Upgrade option only seems to have one button: $20. Since I originally ordered the standard edition plus retail box for $60: ($60 + $20) is $80 ... where is the button/link for thoes of us who originally purchased the retal box? (Frogboy stated: "You won't be double-charged for shipping. The total cost will be $69.95.") ???

Yes the real trouble was the antialiasing. With antialiasing turned off 1920x1200 works well. Thanks
Lowering the resolution 'fixed' the issue. I haven't yet determined the maximum resolution that will work, just that 1920x1200 doesn't work. I'll also try lowering some of the video settings to see if that will 'fix' 1920x1200. With all of that said, other modern games (Like Dragon Age Origins) work fine at 1920x1200. I hope this is just a bug or optimization issue that gets fixed during the beta. Thank you for the help.

I have not been able to run the last several beta releases. I have had crash issues: ------ The following has happened during the last couple of releases, but did not occur on the first two beta releases: I start a new Elemental game, choosing all defaults. Without moving from the start location I click on the build town. Then answer Ok, twice. The town appears, then Elemental crashes. (Out of several trys, one
I seem to have a similar issue: The first minute or two the game works well then the graphics slow down to about 2 fps. I did not have this issue in the previous betas. Guess I'll try turning off AA.

I had the same issue after upgrading to v. 0.24. deleting prefs.ini fixed the 'greyed out save' button for me. Thanks Strand.
Now that I can save, I have the same issue with loading games up as others: Missing towns etc. from the loaded game. If fact I have not yet had a load from an original game save that was totally sussessfull.
Solved: I un-installed Elemental, deleted the Elemental stuff within my documents section and reloaded Elemental. Now save works. Guess I'll start using the download and archive feature of Impulse so I don't have to 'download' to reinstall.
I just started a new Elemental Beta 1 game. During turn one I tried to save the game. The save game window came up, I entered a name. The Save and Cancel buttons never became active. All I could do was press cancel. I repeated this on a second game. Help. I can not save.
