If you're talking about "real" Effects files with .8BF as the extension, they go into \Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop x.x\Plug-Ins\Effects.

Oops, forgot to mention that you should also hide the username via the registry and add it as a bmp through you graphic application. As I said, not the most efficient way to do it but it should work on most skins.

On another post that is roughly about the same topic, I suggested that you could maybe add the pic of your choice in the top border bmp of the start menu with the help of a graphic app and modify the margin in SkinStudio so it won't stretch you picture at the wrong place. Maybe a bit tricky but that's the only way I can think of to do this when on a domain.

Xymantix, what you could do is maybe modify the top border of the start menu with SkinStudio and integrate the picture of your choice. Maybe a bit tricky but that's the only way I can think of to do this when on a domain.

I don't know if my analogy is appropriate but I would "dare" to compare in some way the situation WC is facing to the one of Microsoft vs Hotmail. Hotmail as always been and is still a free service. But, storage space and bandwidth costing alot, Microsoft had to come up with a solution to get more return on their investment (and not only rely on ads). Thanks Paxx for the link. I tried the utility and indeed found it counter-productive since it requires you to spin around constantly to get items you want not to mention it's not intuitive very much.
