Quoting Folcik009, reply 1Frogboy has said that the CPU power is very important to gamespeed. If you have a slower CPU then it'll be a bit slower. Also, ensure nothing is running in the background and that your graphics settings are lower. That sounds like a memory leak, not performance issues.
I agree with you since all three
Quoting Bearussr, reply 24 Common problem with all those computers: AMD processors. (just sayin...)
One of my friends has the new Intel 7 cores and pretty much the same set up as me and they have the same problem as me and my other friends use AMDs and some problem as me to, so it is not only AMDs and Intel is is a game issue. (BTW I have never had problem with AMD I always have problems with Intel!)

I have three computers, one a AMD Turion x2 2.2ghz, 4gb ddr2 ram, nvidia 8400gs. game runs great, but then around 200-250 turns then it really slows to a crawl around 14-20fps even in cloth map. Next AMD Phenom 9550 X4 2.2ghz, 4gb ddr2 ram, nvidia 9800gt superclock ed. the same thing again. Last one AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2ghz, 8gb ddr3 ram, nvidia 480gtx, and again the same thing. So I think it is more of a memory leak issue not a processor problem!
