When will the fix go in for the issue where the bar on the left side of the screen with your units and cities disappears when you load a quick save? That is VERY frustrating.

Okay, I'm not sure if this is intended or not ... but I just lost to Resoln due to the Spell of Making, but the loss screen showed Loss by Conquest, with the whole armies lying dead around thing ... which doesn't seem right for that particular loss. Is it working as intended, or is it pulling the wrong loss screen? Thanks!
Here's the one that's driving me buggy ... when you reload a quick save, there's a big chance that the units/cities menu on the left side of the screen will disappear. The only way to restore it is to exit the game and then reload.
I tentatively agree with Borg999. Keep in mind, it is still in Beta, so there are issues that are being worked out. But it already behaves better than FE. It depends on what experience you are looking for. I am a casual player, and am enjoying a relaxed game. Some of the mechanics are very different from FE, and that is taking a little getting used to. And the scenario hasn't yet been released in
It was like this in FE as well ... I agree it's frustrating. I was hoping it would have been fixed in LH ... and maybe it will be. Seems that if you walk through an area, perhaps you might actually look around you while doing so. :) Just sayin'...
Could you specify please? And do you mean "too terrific" in way that the game shouldnt be PG-rated?
Huh????? I meant that the animations put in for some of these critters dying is pretty awesome. No, nothing about them should change the PG rating of the game, you get more violence on Saturday morning cartoons. Have you even played this game?
Okay, maybe it's just me, but some of the critter death animations are just too terrific. My favorite has to be when spiders die, and roll over on their back with their little legs twitching. It's just awesome. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Saying "just don't use it" is NEVER how you properly balance a game.
True, but neither is "Let's take away the one cool thing, instead of adding cool things to everyone else," which seems to be what is being advocated. If the other selections are lacking, then campaign to have stuff added to them, instead of campaigning to have the Beastlord ability Nerfed. The point I was trying
I agree your suggestion wasn't horrible, but I just don't get the whole "if something's really great and everything else is really bland, let's take away the really great thing instead of fixing the bland stuff". It's like little Timmy has a lollypop, but the rest of the class doesn't have one, so instead of giving lollypops to the rest of the class, you want to take away little Timmy's lollypop. It's a game,
Yeah ... this is THE single most annoying glitch for me. It happens after you load a Quicksave, and the only solution is to exit the game and restart. All the other stuff I can work around, but this one is driving me completely buggy. I'm a fairly inexperienced player, so I reload Quicksaves a lot, so
Yeah, they should be. But the fact they're not is the only thing that saved my fledgling army from complete and utter defeat ... so I was kind of glad they weren't. [e digicons][/e] But they definitely should be adjusted.
Hmm. Remounts for armies have always been necessary - horses die or are severely injured in combat ... and changing mounts increases the distance you can travel before your mounts are exhausted. I think it would be reasonable to add an "upkeep" for mounted troops, as suggested above. And I really like the idea of more fantasy mounts ... it would be beyond awesome to be able to ride Pegasus. ;-)
I really like this idea. I'm definitely not in love with the current Champion system ... although I do like it more than in FE.
Why on earth would you want to Nerf it? It's fun to play, and I thought that was the whole idea behind the game? Making it fun for the players? If you don't like the ability, don't use it. If you think it's unfair to use it on a higher level critter ... don't use it. It's an individual game ... you choose your own way of playing.
