My guess would be interface improvements, sounds, AI, gameplay modifications, customized items.... Things made possible though LUA scripting. Model-modding is trickier though due to the usage of Granny, that require a licence, if I've gotten my facts straight.

Ok, so I got my Beta invite at last. Played two games, and my conclusion; Demigod is superiour. Maybe it's just me that sucks at DotA (well, HoN is DotA, just new engine), but I found it lacking in quite many aspects, not only the complete lack of originality. Nah, Demigod ftw.
Awesome. +karma post.

We do not yet know what areas will be avalibe for modding yet, do we? Customized interface elements is given (I guess), and map-making as well. Still no solution to the Granny-dilemma afaik, so we don't know the future of custom models I guess. As for a CoC, I have not much to add. I'm not that much into modding myself, but the only suggestion I could make is to have clear rules regarding how to name the topics. Best would be if the people in charge of the forum could add sp

I don't like references to christianity. [e digicons][/e] And I think implementing a character with such obvious connection to the christian bible can be quite controversial.
Banned for not using punctuation.
I would love to see this mapidea to go live. Brilliant.
Where I do like the actual speed of things in the game, such as movement speed, attackspeed, cooldowns and such, I can agree with the OP that the actual gameplay is a bit slow-phased. One of the factors that made StarCraft, Counterstrike, WC3, Quake and many other mplayer games so successfull was the action being at display on screen. For those watching Korean Starcraft matches on TV (or though the net) knows what I'm talking about. It's interesting and fast phased, and the games rare
