Currently the different weapon types are not completely balanced. I like playing with a mix of unit types - I like the rock/paper/scissors of matching the best adversary to what I'm fighting. BTW, the removal of damage types took away a huge component of the rock/paper/scissors matchups. [e digicons]:'([/e] Swords are somewhat OP due to + initiative. They tend to have high attack, get counter, and have high initiative. The best counter-unit to a

Yes, I would rather the Ascian have 4 movement, lose it's lightning teleport attack and replace it with a normal range 1 lightning attack.

Balance can mean all these things, but also: Balance between all the factions. Invariably all games have some factions who are more powerful than others due to "racial" abilities that play stronger or weaker in the greater framework of an entire playthrough. Some games are better at balancing the different factions than others.

1) Tell what element the spell is and what spellbook and/or research is needed. 2) Allow it to be searchable. 3) I think it was the Great Mill - anyway there was a building that one of my cities could build and another city could not. The building description in game and in the Heirgamenon were exactly the same - neither listed any pre-reqs for the building. Please list all pre-reqs for all buildings.

I didn't know Outposts were upgradable until I saw this thread. Was this concept in the FE tutorial? Anyway, not that I know about the upgrades, I have started using them, mostly hightower. But since the upgrades take time in a city queue they are really extremely limited in use. There was one case where I had more upgrades queued up, but took them out and haven't had a chance to put them back in because of new tech and now war. I like the suggestion

Yesterday I read a comment in a thread which I cannot find now for some reason where the poster was complaining about all of us who are offering constructive criticism for LH. The poster didn't understand why so many of us are "trying to force our wills on the game" or something along that line. That poster obviously does not understand the purpose of a Beta. The constructive criticism us Beta testers are offering is exactly what the Devs have asked us to provide in ex

I find it interesting that so many users in so many different threads are asking for features from MOM. It is interesting because I know an editor at GI and he told me that way back when Elemental was in early development, we're talking pre-beta, the Elemental devs told GI that they wanted to make MOM 2 essentially, but they had issues getting the IP for MOM, so they created the Elemental IP. Now that we are in iteration 3 of Elemental with LH, there are still so many core m

I'm sure the economy in Elemental/FE/LH has been set the way it is on purpose. I am failing to see the purpose, however. There is far too little income generation and troops have too large of wages. Unless you straight line to all the income generation you might have enough income to support 2 stacks of units, but probably not. Certainly not if you want to buy equipment to make your Champions useful - which is another issue entirely - other posters have asked why C

This would be in addition to the normal leveling-up process. It would definitely help mages because if they have a large n

I personally like being able to pick where I want to go. Yes, this is my #1 complaint with LH over FE. I want blunt/cutting/pierce to be separated again. Auto-upgrade is "broken" because of lumping all 1 or 2 handed weapons together. I would also like to split out the magical items form the auto-upgrade path because crystal is rare enough that all of a sudden all your troops needing crystal becomes a problem. My personal habit is to design 1 elite troop type which has "everything" and then a cannon fodder type troop to fle

I'll take this thread for a roll-up thread for all bugs found... My first game, after loading the game from a save all units could be built in 1 turn as they showed up as needing 0 production value. They still needed the crystal/metal/wargs, but no production points. I'm up to date with the March 26 update.
