That's just the nature of updates.
"For this game" needs to be added to your statement. I have never, in 20+ years of playing PC games EVER seen a game update render your saved games unusable.

A brand new post crash debug report! YAY!! http://pastebin.ca/1928126
Ummmm what? Well, this is new. I certainly hope there is a fix for this.
So I made the one and only fertile plot of land for miles into a farm. Now what? How in the world do I get more food so I can expand? What am I missing here?
Thank you for replying, but that isn't working either. Well, I take that back, it did allow me to pull my troops from the city, but for movement it isn't working. Maybe I will try another mouse.
Howdy all. I'm trying not to rant so sorry it is comes across that way. I am having several issues (not technical, just how to play the damned game). Ok, movement. If I use the arrows, my troops only move diagonal (please for the love of Xenu fix that). Someone suggested using the mouse ( I actually have a trackball) but that isn't working. I highlight and click, or drag and click but all it does is move the map.&nbs
Here is the debug file from a crash I had. This happened after I tried to alt+tab out of the game for a second. http://pastebin.ca/1924455
Quoting Uberwilhelm, reply 79Learning curve? More like learning mountain range. Cripes. Anywho, I'm only 70 moves (not minutes, but moves) and am frustrated. Can your units ONLY move in a diagonal direction? I have got to be missing something here because that would be horrible. I have some tiles I can't get to because of it. What am I missing here? moving by using the keyboard is broke
Agree, go digital! Having the "backup" always available to reinstall is great. This is why digitial distribution is taking off. There are still some rough edges to be worked out, but its done well.
Am I the only one who thinks digital downloads should be a little cheaper than the retail box?
