he has the worst armor in the game if u dont get him upgrades for health or armor he is very squish so this is not very aplicable No he doesn't. Rook has the lowest armor in the game. In fact, Erebus has the second BEST armor in the game (below UB). He also has the 2nd highest health (below Rook). http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=944424&topic=49287

still frustrating, still a problem. am I the only one with this problem/noticing it? tonight a teammate even got mad at me for not helping while he died. i'm a pretty experienced gamer and would like to think i'm not overlooking some feature that makes my demi stop responding mid combat.
this just happened to me for the first time after weeks of regular play. Time of this report: 5/12/2009, 21:55:33 Machine name: Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Everex Systems,Inc System Model: Everex Ste
minions also need an auto attack toggle, maybe like a defensive stance? i'm tired of them running away from where i tell them to stand. hold position? hold area? c'mon this stuff's all been done before. While we're at it how about a small hud with your teammate's health bars? clicking on a tiny picture next to their health bar should select them as well. mega help for support demis.
My last post didn't post, so I hope i'm not lagging in a double post here, but there's a few things I think you guys need to hear. First of all I just got done playing with this new update installed and I can tell everyone that the problems from last night are gone. Getting into the lobby: great. Starting the game: great (everyone made it). Game: great (no disconnect, rage quits, or net splits). So this brings me to my point. I have been an avid PC gamer for over a decade. I've
is overpowered to the point that people of equal "skill" will be more effective with that class
are you sure your assumption here is correct after the game being out for only around a month. I hear great players who don't play erebus say he's not that big of a deal.
this is stupid, everyone on here crying about good job on the nerf told a story about how you can't run away form erebus. you would have to be a rather new player to get into a fight just to run away at the beginning of the game. point A) when you run, you can't deal damage, only receive it. running is your problem, stop it, it's why you're dying. B ) at the late levels of the game, when you have enough mana to bite as many time as ppl are complaining about, the scale has already started to l
Typically, a game creator would wait for the game to play out, and for GOOD players to actually play and provide grounds from which GPG can make conclusive changes to the balance that are logical, and tone down overused demigods in popular setups. In this light, the balance trickles down to public games with random pugs. ...But instead, GPG ignorantly reads the forums in a three week old game , and appease the retarded masses of whiners that have been ramp
hitting on that hippi lettuce
lmao, great that you tried to sound cool, now if you could only put those words into a context that makes sense. too funny.
Only bad erebus use bite at full health. Waste of mana for 900 damage.
So only bad erebus like to reduce their opponents armor, slow them, and deal damage at the beginning of the fight? really...
I agree with beardking, this seems like the devs didn't even give the ppl whining about erebus time to accumulate some skill before nerfing him. I mean really, nerfing a character that does a couple things well but nothing great is kind of like making a kid who needs glasses sit in the back of the class. I've read some of the posts QQ about erebus and asking for some balance, and in several cases they are flat out misrepresenting the facts. For example, a couple posts down the OP claims that
It's clearly not going to be the only balance chance in the patch - it may well balance out.
Considering that the only balance issue mentioned is the erebus issue, what makes you think it's not the only balance issue addressed? Are the other one's going to be a surprise?
First off, I think there needs to be an auto-attack toggle. Too many times have I sent my minions in and left my demi standing off a distance only to come back from microing my minions to find my demi standing in the middle of combat, it seems he will chase enemy minions or enemy creeps, and that just wont do, because I told him to stand there. And what is up with minions getting distracted by _anything_ that gets in their path. I said attack target A! Not turn around and attack target B
· Lord Erebus: Bite's Mana Cost increased, Damage decreased, Armor Reduction decreased
...damage decreased? if you are making it cost more mana, again, then why nerf it completely? also, why the erebus nerf, but no sedna, oak, or tb nerfs?
The only way to get better at a game is to play it, and the benefit of playing against much better players is that you should, hopefully, get much better yourself. On the other hand, it does really blow your morale when you get steamrolled.
That's the spirit! You came right out with an opposing point of view and managed not to insult or flame in the process. While I'm kind of a lurker who's on the "this game isn't that other game, move on" bandwagon, I do agree that things have begun getting rather heated pretty fast in every discussion. The thing that really gets me is that people who are even having technical issues with the game are getting flamed for being not technically savvy enough to fix their problems. We should all be
