Now some people may say "modifying the game core is illegal" well, its not... basicly yes buy practicly its ok. why? one word - mods! new sound tracks, models, designes, all come to add better experiance to the game yet the corporations dont githt them, why? because a good mod for a game = more sales for the game hacking the game so that it will work without the disk is same as making a mod for it (practicly)
heheh, you're right. Both assassins and generals should be allowed in Pantheon games. But it would be fun to be able to customize assassins or generals only when making custom games. Don't forget we get atleast one extra assassin and one extra general

How about just teamed Pantheon games, and non-teamed Pantheon games? So you can make a team of 2-5 players, join together, and then be matched against another team with an equal number of players. That shouldn't be too tough to program. I definately think this possibility should be there.

Yeah, I agree. But these issues must be clear as day for the developers. I can't imagine they sit there thinking "Hey, this demigod is EPIC at cornering. Wow, even a little drifting goin' on there. Man, the pathing is EXCELLENT!" They're engineers, not gophers, you know

Yeah, sort of signed. Dminishing returns is both a good way, but also a horrible way of balancing. It's a big punishment, especially if it's 2v2. IF there should be diminishing returns on kill-gold, it should be a slow declination. I do agree that first blood does yield way too much. Maybe start the monetary kill-award a little lower? 1000+ is a lot at level 1 :) And it only escalates from there to about 2000. Start it off at 500, and maybe 250 extra gold for first blood. That

Yeah, I've noticed that too. In fact, if I'm near a group of mobs, and I right-click a demigod in their midsts, then I happily begin to attack the demigod. But if he runs out of range of my standard attack, my character begins to attack the guys close to him. This is especially easy to see if you're the unclean beast. If I want to chase another demigod through a puddle of enemy minions, I have to excessively right-click the enemy demigod to make the 5000rpm meatgrinding beast dig his

But isn't that just the name of the game? You should always be able to see everything in a little ring around your character. No matter if a building or Rook isstanding on top of you. How this should work...ask the engineers. I just play :)

I was thinking, now that we have assassins, why not have an assassination gamemode (maybe even make it optional to include only the assassin heroes in this gamemode)? Well, in all its simplicity: 2 teams battling it out like normal, only there's no gold awarded for kills. Minion gold/exp awards could be optional. At the beginning each team gets assigned one enemy player as assassination-target. Only killing this enemy will yield gold. When this enemy has been k

Brad, these aren't just walls of text. They're walls of love, hope, new ideas and continuous consumer satisfaction for all of us. And I'm sure they also help you get some things in perspective as you write them. I for one would love to see these continue to dazzle my eyes with new information about what's in the horizon for this great game, and also play the role of a sparring-program between you, the engineer, and the consumers of your brilliance. OK, maybe a bit too asslic

I will if they're good, fellow Dane. Which is why I bought myself to poverty this month with DoD Source, Left4Dead and Demigod. Plus a good handful of great PS3 games. As for the pricetags and comparisons, you're totally right. But in America you can get a great meal at a semi-fancy rat-and-roach-free restaurant for ~$40, so this comparison only seats well in Europe. Only young people who've recently got themselves a good job, and pay no rent, will buy a game for 4-500kr. Us m

Have you tried a 2v2 against Sedna (Nightmare)? At level 20 she's practically immortal. Me (Unclean beast, fast attack, mega damage and life steal) and my friend (frost-mage, crowd control and stun) tried pounding her down while she was alone. It just wasn't happening! We tried killing her healers first, then DPSing her. No go, she just spawned them faster than they went down. She's HORRIBLE! I'm not entirely sure how the AI does this. I sure as hell can't make her invincible like that.
