Somethings wrong with mounted combat. Since I put my guy on a wolf he won't hit straight away after i click. Maybe its the wolf+shortsword combo? I have the same problem with my horsemen with shortswords too. Thought I might as well mention it in case it hasn't been noticed already.
Yeah, its a bit of a joke, the aussie classifications board... Been pissing quite a few of us off. When creating a character how important is it to take spellbooks? If you don't take a fire spellbook does that mean you'll never have access to fire magic? How long would it take to collect all 6 in game if you started with none?

I'm playing Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Theres an ascii version with online functionality, but I'm playing the graphical tiled version. Its pretty awesome and free. What makes it so playable for me is the auto-explore and auto-pickup features. You just hit o and you run until u see something. Makes it really fast to clear dungeons after you just died and groan at starting again. Also, loads of sweet races and classes. Stuff like minotaurs who make passive
Yeah, the first thought I had was not building at all and aiming to make a powerful melee warrior, ignoring magic as much as possible.
