i dunno, with recent new learnings from another thread i may use superweapons again... though i do thin its odd that advent can put two super weapons in a GW but vasari cannot, despite the same tactical slot requirements.
advent have an upgrade that adds 10 tactical slots to all planets-just enough at the larger planets to build 2 deliverance engines

hmm. if you have an administrator account, then anything you install should be able to set itself to startup as administrator. As for the programs that require elevation, some were just poorly programmed and modify files in places they shouldn't be stored. sounds like you have your UAC cranked way up? they added new settings levels for UAC, try the one that only prompts when something wants to change your computer.

He got a receipt that looks exactly like mine except that there is a text atteched to it with the cd key and the download link and so on. So, I am basically stuck with a receipt that says I paid 45$ but I have nothing more than that.
i thought

you can disable starbase autopinning-you just have to manually edit the settings text file.
As the backup is a few days old, I've lost some game saves - but that is only because of Microsofts insistance that programmers store program info locally instead of with the game (I have my games on a seperate partition). Everything else is as it was.
its a damage mitigation issue- the idea is that everything in program files never gets modified during normal use, and as such that any unapproved modifications there are immediately suspect.
start a 5v5 with everyone as this guy and...yeah.
