I only played like the first two tutorials, then started MP. There are 4 good spots on the map for a base, when creating a base for scientists, you want to border directly onto iron. I won the game on the first try, I made my base in the top right corner, not directly on the top right, but the one more towards the middle. Scientific is hands down probably the strongest of them all, even if no as easy to play. The bonus makes it the most resilient to enemy blackmarket actions. In a customized game where there's no blackmarket action, scientists lose their big resilience bonus, they aren't the best race in that particular scenario. Game goes up to 2-2.5GB memory within minutes of starting a game, maybe being partially responsible for massive lags, UI being unresponsive. Small but important, sound doesn't switch off if you alt tab out of the game. The loader bar also doesn't load once a lobby starts, so if you're alt tabbed you have no way of knowing. I alt-tab a lot.

Is there going to be a better system, like matchmaking and servers for the game? P2P is fine 50% of the time, very often the host lags out or the game lags horribly due to connectivity issues between player and host or the host's bandwidth being exhausted, etc etc ... Will there be servers and possibly a matchmaking system? Servers being the mot important part.

What's also interesting is that the buildings from a bought out player dont give the adjacency bonus to your production, so you will have to scrap and build your own over his existing buildings, in the case that you're close.

The most OP light frigate is the .... wait for it ... waaait for it ... clearly. It's the Jarun Migrator. If its abilities are used properly it can develop into having massive HP and firepower. It's a superstar. Noone should consider any other type of frigate. In fact we should all spam Jarun Migrators, they are OP.

'nuff said The OP's wannabe attempt at a scientific experiment have truly failed because the starting conditions were considerably off, and the wrong metrics have been used to provide a 'fair' matchup, as Sel explained on page1 of this forum topic.
