6. Sure... At this point Stardock comes in with Blinds, Dock, Desktop X etc... to fix the disaster. Which is great news but then again this thread pretty much turns into add for Stardock software which user should install to get out from usual Win visual hell... When I was Win user I had more less all of Stardock products installed just to make my experience of using computer remotely comfortable and modern...

Now, for the purposes of making life hard on Stardock, I’m not just running a beta of Windows 7, I’m running a beta of Windows 7 64-bit. By the time Windows 7 is released, all applicable Stardock software must run on this machine.
A corporation pushing for 64-bit compatability! I fucking love StarDock!
oh, and you could also try running developer.exe, it's in the forge tools pack on the download page, it will show you every error as it occurs, might help you track it down if all else fails
i almost wonder if the developers sold there souls to the devil just to make the greatest Rts game ever.
That's why they call it Sins, but seriously, we should all be so lucky as to get such great returns from so little an investment [e digicons]:P[/e]
Check for any proprietary software running in the background i.e. printer or web cam driver or optimization software, stuff like that might interfere with the game initializing, if there is nothing like that then it could be that critical files on your game disk are corupted, completely uninstall (manually delete installation folder after) then download the entire game off Impulse, if that doesn't work I'd guess your SOL
Crowsbane is definately right, need processor speed, OS and RAM at least
I bound it to spacebar, but I play on a laptop, so it's right next to the zoom keys and the mouse. one thing to watch out for though, some things won't take effect until you unpause it, like the money subtracted for planet upgrades, so when you unpause you might notice you ran out of money in the middle and didn't get all your upgrades, also, with research, you have to unpause to select the next icon. i.e. research media hub, unpause, pause, research all stages of the first level cultur
Just the layout, no that wouldn't be too hard, but say some smartass sets is so that one planet is homeworld for team 10, set's that as his team number, then gives it all the anemities of a fully developed empire i.e. labs, trade ports, factories. You couldn't detect something like that just glancing over the layout, and if IC signed off on something like that and put it in a release, you know people would be pissed off at IC when they figured out why one guy online that i
Again I echo the call I have been making for a number of months on this issue. If the game engine cannot do it, then use the distribution mechanism that the game uses - Impulse!!! Just get Ironclad to review the maps and release them as either stand alone components, or include them in a new patch...
Reviewing the maps submitted by hundreds of fans would probably be too time intensive for the devs. If the

I think it's somewhere in options, something like saves, memory, or file management. Sorry, I've done it before and I'd double check for you but my personal computer is sorta out of commision for a while.

left click should be move, attack, perform action
What do you mean the game "twist?" In the game there is no function to right click other than to rotate perspective, if that's what you mean then it's fuctioning properly, what is it that you are trying to do?
You can also try moving you view point so there is something in the back ground for contrast, I find a stars corona works the best.
In the intro video they show a Vasari "transport lab" my guess is something along the lines of Stephen King's the Mist, hyper-dimensional beings.
I personally do not like Family Guy at all. They are offensive, mean, racist, and dirogatory. The show exibihts no class whats so ever, and i have been personally attacked by the show. examples: when the family goes to louis fathers home and they work at the plantations with the mexicans (i have hispanic heritage) how brian and stewy felt offense to the interacial couple (the black guy going out wi

Where's your BCT?
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods In the install directory there is a ReadMe that explains how to use mods, it's essentially exactly what posativ just wrote.
