We asked Google last night to rescan the site. We are waiting for their results.
this could be related, so ill post this here, last week I had a similar circumstance when i tried to go onto joeuser, my browser said the sight will harm your computer. not sure if it still says that anymore. sounds like hackers to me.........
JoeUser had the same problem last week, also related to ads. I don't think a "hard refresh" exists for the Safari app so we are in Apple's mercy as to when the Javascript will get refreshed. Neil's problem was resolved simply by waiting. Bara

I hate the word annoying. It's just so... annoying. Bara
Looks like one of the other web devs already got to it :) Bara
I'm not sure if I'll ever add this to the forums, but I'll see about adding it to another site I'll be working on in the future, where it would probably make more sense. The forums is more a place of discussion, not to connect with others or find friends. Thank you for the suggestion, however, and feel free to provide more :) Bara
The avatar upload issue has been resolved on the forums. If it still does not work for you, try logging out and logging back in, and try clearing your cookies (if you do not want to clear all cookies, simply clear all cookies related to this site, the forums, and stardock). Please let me know if you encounter any further issues. Bara

This issue has been fixed. A hard refresh should resolve the problem without the need for a plugin: https://forums.elementalgame.com/395713/page/1/#2770205 Bara
I've fixed the alternate background and changed the text color to black. However, I've kept the alternate background to a light grey to help differentiate between multiple-line XML and single-line XML. Note that it may require a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) for the CSS to update. Bara
What version of Firefox are you running? Do you have Flash and/or Javascript turned off? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue? Bara
Arena page is looking cool. Is it going to track coop games as well as competitive ones? Also, is the player location based on their profile, or by IP geolocation?
Games are tracked as long as you select multiplayer from the main menu. Co-op games would show up as Custom Games. Player location is tracked by IP. Unfortunately I think the number of US players is making the rest of the world look bad :p
Whoever is in charge of the website, fix the menu. It's has weird MouseOver issues.
Try doing a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5). If that doesn't work, wait a little while. Eventually your browser will realize the background image has changed and update accordingly :) Bara
I've been looking into the avatar issue and I believe the issue is related to an authentication change we made a few weeks back. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a solution to the problem, but I will keep you guys informed of any updates the next chance I have to take a look. Bara
Anyone still having the issue: you may have to clear your cookies and do a hard refresh for it to work. If you can't clear your cookies, then just clear the ones related to the site you're trying to visit (eg: joeuser.com or impulsedriven.com ) AND all stardock.com, stardock.net, and stardock anything cookies. Let me know if that doesn't do it for you. Bara
We've ran YSlow and other tools on our sites in the past, and we try to implement what we can for performance. Unfortunately it comes down to the amount of time it takes to implement such changes. But moving forward, we usually try to keep an eye out for such performance measures. Bara
The reply box is unfortunately out of my control for the time being. I've made a few more minor changes. A hard refresh should update your CSS files. Bara
I've modified the design of the Elemental forums once again. The columns on the side are gone, the header is slightly smaller, and the forums are slightly wider. I've also made some more minor color changes. Let me know what you think :) Bara
Quoting GunslingerBara, reply 6 You don't need to post that in every topic. One was enough to get my attention I'm trying to remember if this was by design or if something is wrong. I think the pinned posts are just to keep specific posts always at the top, but when someone replies they show up in the regular list like any other post, so that they get visibility. Bara Sorry B
Quoting Philly0381, reply 1You need to identify in which forums this is happening. This thread is showing up in the WinCustomize forums. It's happening in all of them here on the Elemental site as far as I can tell. Every time someone makes a reply to one of the pinned threads the thread its-self gets duplicated and re-posted in the lists with the non-pinned threads. It seems kinda "Spammy" if you ask me. What
I've resolved the issue with the logo on IE7 and IE8 (with compatibility mode on). I've also changed the colors around a bit. The backgrounds are a bit more golden/brownish and the text is a bit more yellow. Thanks to Das123 for the suggestions :) Bara
I think it's fine, personally, however obviously I can't speak for everyone. Could Bara add to his already long 'To Do' list the ability for a user to set a preferred background and text colour in their Account settings? Obviously this will create clashes with the overall design of the site(s) - however it should be up to a user to determine what is or is not best for them. On a side note: does Elemental's site's colour
I appreciate the value of a refit as part of getting ready for release, but the change to a black background for the forums is awful, at least for readability. The new home page looks sharper and the black is OK there because it isn't a big reading thing. But please, please, please tweak this tweak so we don't have to read white on black forum threads for the game's life cycle.
Unfortunately, in order to k
