Personally I don't play online multiplayer much because I perfer playing LAN games against my friend while we are in the same room. We did this on Star wars: galactic battelgrounds and played many games. He would come over to my house and we would play for hours. We can't do that now because only my computer can run sins effectivley: there is a ton of lag. I just don't really like playing internet games. (especially since I can't connect to the internet games!) However I am not afraid of

I understand that you are trying to help us get the most out of our game and I appreciate that. It's just that we were expecting Entrenchment to come out but then that was changed a week before the deadline. Do You have a Windows logo button on your keyboard? If so try pressing it when the screen blacks out. I knw that often when I try to play I have to hit the windows button and then click on the Sins of a solar empire button on the task bar befor I can get anwyhere. I wish I could hep you more. Okay here are some tips I know: do not research civilian infrastructure for your home planet to start with. Build crystal and metal mines on the asteroids in your gravity well. then build a capital ship factory and make a capital ship that can colonize planets. got to the nearest asteroid and kill all the bad guys there, then colonize that asteroid and immediatly research civillian infrastructure. Then wait untill you get enough money to build 2 civilian research laboratories, then
