Yeah, you would have to alter yourself to become some sort of twisted brood mother that lays many eggs.
Not really....... just accelerate gestation/mensturation to unreasonable speeds, and let nature take its' course. (I get the distinct impression that it's actually a bit more complicated than that, but we don't really cover "creative biology" in health class, and I'm sure you all get the gist.)
short of a ban you cant get me to leave this thread. good luck with that.
Yes, you're nothing if not persistent. As for the conspiracy theories, try this obsession with my "twisting" things to turn the whole world against you.... or your idea that the political left is somehow organized to undermine the world (if they were, I can assure you the Collective would not allow you to post about it on the internet) or the whole Guantanimo-bay-was-manufactured-by-me-and-Keith-Ol
Scoutdog; Did the US cause 9/11? IS bin laden friends with George W?
I find this sort of argument to be quite ridiculous: just because both me and the 9/11-conspiracy people are left of the relative national "center" doesn't mean we all think alike..... by your logic, because you are conservative and Glenn Back is also conservative, you must believe that there are sublymonal communist messages in the carvings on the front of Rockafeller Center......... tell me, what are the wa
If I was pissed Id be name calling. But it was a good try trying to make me look as if I was ALL FLIPPING MAD! Believe me the all caps is for dramatic effect not actual anger.
This is why I consider these arguments easy. There's not terribly much I can say to make this better.
I...I don't quite know how to respond to that.
Sometimes I find that I need to phrase things in rather stark terms in order to cut through the assorted forum babble. Besides, the militarists are much easier to discredit when they're angry.

A lot of the Haiti stuff has to do with the fact that we're pretty much the only first-world country anywhere near them. But we're still kicking out Hatian refugees who want to stay here.\ The thing that annoys me the most about the American military is its complete inability to handle criticism. If you so much as mention Guantanimo bay or civillian casualtes, you get harassed as some kind of PETA lunatic. I get that a military is necessary, but I just don't see the sense in perpetuat
I wanna know, after many generations of horrible breading can I bread the ugly out of my children? Simply force them to bread with humans eventually somewhere down the line they should start looking normal again right?
As long as the humans are attractive, the ugly traits should slowly be diluted....... although there'll always be something just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle off about them.......

I wonder...... Do the ships have awake crews to monitor and maintain them during their voyage (not the same people for the entire thing, of course, but crewmen revived in some sort of shift system), or is everybody frozen for the whole trip? What sort of sensory capabilities do they have? Can a ship coming to Centauri detect another ship heading in the opposite direction... and can they communicate? Finally, the voyage supposedly takes 5.25 years one way (I

Cool stuff (dunno why nobody else seems to care....) but one other thing I would like to see with this is the ability of techs/abilities to reduce or remove negative synergy and enable more specialization: also instead of each building "off-topic" reducing the synergy by a set amount, I was thinking of something more.... exponential? logarythmic?..... with "tolerance" level or % of tiles below which off-topic buildings have no adverse effect: it seems to me

If I read this right, and discard some of the early blanket statements about kingdoms/empires from long long long long loooooooooooong ago, then does this mean that there could be "good" (i.e. life-using/not-raping-murdering-pillaging-and-torturing) Fallen factions?
