I have never played a 4X strategy game before. I have no idea what to do. Where is the best place to start for very simplified step by step instructions?
Thanks for answering. I'm an old gamer, but have never really farted around w/ strategy games. I have briefly tried RTS games, but I never really learned them because I hate to be rushed. I love RPGs and space sims, though, and I am determined to learn this, although I have no idea what I am doing so far! Thanks for helping everyone out, Netriak!

Do I need to start the game with the CD in the drive as before? I also had the same issue as bman654 above this post. What a nightmare! At one point I said to hell with it and decided to just play the vanilla game. I couldn't even do that as I had a ton of Starforce errors. Then I was pissed - no new game, no old game. I finally got the start screen to start up this am just before work. Edit: I see an earlier post that Starforce is not used in Reboot. Can I safely use the Starf
